We recently attended a wedding at Boreham
House and we’re overwhelmed by the beauty of the house and grounds itself. We were able to walk around the property and see all the beautiful historical parts of the building before retiring to the reception in the grounds. Despite very cool temperatures outside we were very warm and cosy in the reception area and the quality of the meal was beyond our expectation. Attended a wedding recently, what an amazing Venue. Cannot fault it. From our arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was first class. It is great to get into the House itself and the reception space in the gardens is beautiful. Felt that it was only right to share our experience of a Christmas Party Night that we attended on Saturday. Sadly, Boreham House had a power cut as we arrived. However this did not dampen our night at all. The staff we absolutely amazing. We were greeted and informed of the situation and given a reception drink. Despite a very difficult situation, wine, beer and soft drink was free flowing and in plenty and the venue ensured music was playing. Shortly after candles were lit which created a really cool atmosphere and we danced and danced. Expectedly the food run late but starters were great and with all things considered the main course was of a good standard. We highly enjoyed the desserts. The electricity came back on shortly after 8:30pm and DJ played great music and we partied the night away. All things considered it was well delivered and we will be returning next year.

We had our wedding here at the start of September and we couldn't pick a fault in our day even if we tried. EVERYONE had an amazing day and were made to feel truly special by all the staff. Such an incredible stand out venue where we were made to feel like royalty.

Roma, Una, Thierry and all the other staff couldn't have done more for us, from the day we booked until we left the morning after. We have nothing but love for this venue and would recommend anyone looking for a stand out event or wedding to come take a look at Boreham House for that perfect day. More...

Beautiful venue, breathtaking views with a lake and spacious open fields. Great for events and weddings, plenty of space for guests to enjoy a walk/sit on the grass or benches, or for kids to play in. Has the option of booking rooms or the lovely outdoor marquee - please note however, as a guest at the marquee for a summer wedding, it was very hot in there and staff were not allowed to open any of the doors (only the front entrance was open). This didn't matter too much for us as we simply went outdoors for a bit, but for other guests it was quite uncomfortable! More...
