Bookstern Catering is a brand new catering venture from Head Chef Ethan Ballan & his team from the former Bartisserie2 restaurant in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester. Bartisserie2 was forced to close because of repeated flooding but Ethan has bounced back and is now able to offer you the same fine dining and quality of service offered by Bartisserie2, the only difference is, he’ll do so in your own home anywhere in Greater Manchester.

Ordered three courses ‘Gourmet to Go’ for a dine out experience at home. The service from order to delivery was great and the food was incredibly tasty with easy to follow guidance on how to present with the professional touch that the food deserved. (I need a little more practice so will be ordering again) Really enjoyed it and would recommend. More...

Due to the current situation we decided that our annual Christmas party wouldn't be able to go ahead this year, and instead we booked Bookstern Catering to come on site and provide burger and chips for all our employees.

The food was fantastic and they provided equally delicious options for all dietary requirements. Ethan and his team were incredibly professional, adhering to our strict Covid procedures ensuring the safety of our employees. And burgers went down a treat with everyone!

We would highly recommend Bookstern Catering to any business considering organising a Christmas event for their staff this year. We will definitely use Bookstern Catering again for any future events we may do.

I’ve not yet had my wedding date so can’t comment on taste but I cannot compliment enough their huge selection of menus and excellent customer service. Ethan was happy to answer all of my questions and organise a menu to suit my guests and budget. He‘a worked with me to work out catering for a Covid wedding, which obviously has been hugely reassuring. After the closing of the restaurant after 9 floods in two years. We had to adapt and find a new business with in the hospitality industry where we felt we could put our experience to the most use.

We are bespoke to the customer and to the event. Our head chef Ethan Ballan waa a former junior sous chef at the Dorchester hotel in Mayfair. He always goes above and beyond in produce and quality. Providing equipment some vendors may not have.
