What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Being able to read the crowd fairly on and mixing the music to cater for all ages rather than sticking to one or two genres or playing the latest chart music.
When performing at a wedding, we go straight into happy lively music, especially so after the first dance as to start the night on a high note. Engagement with the audience is also high on the agenda; a DJ that simply plays music is not what Boogie Beats is about. A tip when deciding upon a venue for your party - it's crucial to ensure the bar is in the same room as the dancefloor as this will make a huge difference to your evening! Another tip is to ensure your venue is appropriate to the number of guests you have invited. Cosy is often best.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Our style is very much playing happy, lively and uplifting music from across the decades. At the same time we welcome requests and will try to play some of these if we feel it's appropriate to do so! No dancefloor killers please!
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of the 'job' is the reaction of people enjoying themselves on the dancefloor whether it be a silly dance to a party classic or an impromptu dance-off to a song you never saw coming.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having performed at many parties over the years for many people and having built up the confidence and charisma it becomes an easy decision to cut out the middle man and work for yourself.
Why should our clients choose you?
Simply we are good at what we do, we continue to enjoy entertaining hundreds of people each and every week. We pride ourselves on not only the music selection and performance of our DJs, but also in the quality of our sound and audio equipment.
You can also rest easy in the knowledge that we are fully insured and legal with public liability insurance in place and our equipment being tested on an annual basis to bring peace of mind.
Pop Corn machine hire
We provide a fully-trained member of staff to operate the machine and serve your guests. No need to worry about delivery, setup, collection - we take care of everything. The popcorn machine has an internal spot light so you can see it popping in front of you and also a base warmer to keep the freshly-made popcorn warm.
Whether planning an outdoor party in the back of your garden under a gazebo or in a village hall or sports venue - our Popcorn machines are suitable in a wide variety of locations. If indoors a room with a high ceiling and good venilation is best.
Make your Popcorn Salted, Sweet, chocolate-ty tasting, strawberry like - even Nacho Cheese flavour! Simply sprinkle as much as or as little as you like and give the bag a shake!
Candy Floss machine hire
We provide a fully-trained member of staff to operate the machine and serve your guests. No need to worry about delivery, setup, collection - we take care of everything.
Your guests are welcome to eat as much candy floss as they want at your party - our pricing structure is straightforward - you simply pay by the hour.
Remember the fascination of watching the candy floss being made. The floss being all fluffy and spun on a stick.
We can provide Candy Floss in a colour to match your theme - just let us know in advance. In general we keep stock of all the most requested flavours such as Vanilla Pink, Blue Raspberry, Lemon Yellow and Apple Green. If you would like another flavour just ask.
