We've been a few times for the 3 course menu and found the food to be delicious and creative. The menu changes every week based on what's in season and the chef's inspirations. The value for money is excellent, the atmosphere cozy and the service friendly and efficient. It has become one of our favorite places to eat in Penticton. More...
It was a wonderfully unique dining experience. Informative, fresh and delicious. We loved that the owner served us and explained all the courses.
Owner was our server. He was very attentive. I asked if organic wine was on the menu, and he offered a local winery, not on the menu. We were thrilled with the offering. Meal was delicious! More...
Overall good. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was a bit chilly, but the item that impacted us most was the couple seated next to us who loudly discussed their plans, their children, upcoming events and amusing items on their phones. It was much nicer when they left.
We got the $35 3 course menu and it was delicious! Good portions, we will definitely be back.
Everything has been exquisite right down to the pavlova. The Manhattan with the sweet vermouth wasn't overpowering at all.
The food was amazing and chef Darren was very informative, friendly and charming. By far a wonderful experience. Our favourite restaurant
The food and the service were both fairly good, nothing stood out as amazing. The main issue I had is that it took 3 or 4 attempts ordering wine before they had a bottle we were asking for. Considering they only sell wines from vineyard surrounding the restaurant, this is embarrassing. More...
Everything was excellent, the food, the service. Love the ambiance. Definitely recommend Bogners.
Penticton secret, always local , seasonal And great value for outstanding food
The BBQ menu was great! The gin and tonic was awesome as well. Definitely need to have a complete cocktail list though.
Delicious, fresh, beautiful. Excellent service with very informative staff.
The 5 Course BBQ menu is spectacular! The gin and tonic is surprisingly delicious. Definitely worth it!
Ate here for the 2nd time and we were pleasantly surprised there was room on the patio. Beautiful setting & very romantic - plus you get to see part of the garden up close! Farm to table and love the set menus. There were even options for non-dairy preferences. More...
Such a beautiful restaurant inside of an older home, vegetable and herb garden outside is the source and inspiration of the dishes. Quite literally created from farm/garden to table! Wine pairings seemed minimal for the location but perhaps this is due to the true local nature and vibe of this restaurant! An absolute treat to eat here and an absolute gem of a location! More...
Great night out with friends. Halibut was delicious. Menu changes weekly last time I had local chicken in a herb broth. I love to see the garden outside. Fresh veggies everywhere.
Superb! Exceptional attention to detail. A worthwhile dining experience.
we had the bbq 5 course. every bite was outstanding. daren came out and actually served us, which was an extra treat. we definitely recommend bogner’s.

Despite arriving a few minutes before our reservation time, we were kindly welcomed and given the option of sitting either in the patio or the restaurant. Since the temperature was fantastic, we chose the patio.Beautiful patio with big tables and homegrown vegetables and fruit. We decided to go for the 5 plates set menu, with just wine pairing for one (to share). Each of the plates were simply delicious. Generous portions, delicate flavours that combined well, passionate explanation by our server of what was in each plate and origin of each of the ingredients composing it. Simply outstanding. Really pleased with the experience. If you are around, definitely worth a visit. Set menu is a bargain for what you get. Thanks Bogner's! More...
Darin never disappoints. The combination of flavors and textures are outstanding and the wine pairings compliment the dishes. Sheila is always gracious and presents Darin’s creations with knowledge. This is our favorite restaurant and we love bringing friends and family when they visit us to show off the best upscale restaurant that delivers world class dishes at an incredibly reasonable price. Bogner’s is up there with the best we’ve experience in our extension international travels. More...
Really loved the cute little house-style restaurant. Very unique place and the food and service were both very good. We will be back
We loved our experience at Bogner's. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable. We were the first table at their opening, so it wasn't very busy therefore I can't comment on the noise level. The atmosphere is so wonderful and the owner is a gem. He was also our server and took the time to explain every dish and to answer any questions we had. I wish I lived in Penticton so I could go there on a regular basis! More...
Food and service was awesome! Would go back anytime!
Fantastic meal, great service...
The building is beautiful, the service attentive, and the food is very good. A very enjoyable evening.
We had such an amazing evening at Bogner’s! Sheila greeted us and made us feel welcome, and went out of her way to accommodate us numerous times, and was so great with our little one we brought along. We truly appreciated her hospitality and kindness. Each of us had a different dish and each one was out of this world. I don’t remember the last time I ate food that was THIS good. Every one of us had a clean plate by the end, including our little picky eater! Dessert was great too! We had such a fantastic evening and we would like to thank Sheila, the chef, and everyone at Bogner’s for a night to remember!! More...
Good dining, great service
Good food, good service, best value! Will definitely go back again.
We are long time fans of Bogner’s and never miss it when visiting the city. The Chef is very big on the concept of farm to table and fresh, local ingredients - and it shows in his food. He was out on the floor and spent some time talking with us at the end of our meal. His passion for food made with fresh ingredients grown on site or locally is very obvious, and he is keen to adjust to a kid friendly menu should the need arrive - also with the fresh and tasty ingredients! Great value with his tasting menu options, a wonderful selection of wines or wine pairings, all set in a cozy room with character and ambiance. A must not miss when in Penticton. Thanks! More...
Our evening at Bognar's was very nice, our server was very friendly and very good at her job. The food was delicious. It was a lovely evening with good friends.
Greated upon arrival and the hostess was already expecting us with waters already on the table. :) The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us adequate time! The food was to die for, everything was made in house and was fulk of flavours we have never had before. This place is a must try in the Okanagan! More...
It was great food and service. Must to go.
It’s one of the better restaurants I Penticton, for good wholesome food, but also price wise.
We eat here often. Food is always consistently excellent. Any issues are quickly rectified (only happened once). Never leave here unhappy or hungry and their wine pairing menu is great too!
Old school dining. Menus are prix fixe , delicious traditional preparations with some updating and a trememdous value. Service managed by one extremely competent and personable gentleman. Proportions were spot on. We enjoyed the experience. More...
Fine food and great host
We loved Bogners ambiance. I would like to live there. Food was very good and our server was top notch. I would like more of a low carb option in the $35 menu, but I picked around my dish and was quite satisfied. Its a special place for special occasions for sure. More...
We've been in Penticton for 14 years and never made it to Bogners, silly us!! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented and we are looking forward to our next visit!
This was a very pleasant surprise in a lovely restored house, a menu that changes every 10 days or so, delicious locally sourced food and friendly helpful service. We will be back.
Make sure to go on a night when no large groups are scheduled to attend
Bogner's does everything they can to accomodate people with food allergies. The Pinot Noir was great too. I want to try the strawberry daiquiri.
Excellent in all ways. The food, the service, the ambiance. It was a delicious experience, and we are looking forward to our next visit.
A wonderful experience!
Amazing food and great staff. Always a special experience.
New to the community and was surprised to find this hidden gem. Quiet, elegant and the food was fabulous. Definitely will go back!
Fabulous date night dinner, flavors were amazing
Great food many layers of taste in every bite! Portions are a good size. One of the best restaurants in Penticton!
Our first time at Bogners and we would definitely return. We tried the 5 course meal with the suggested wine pairings. Food was lovely and the service was excellent.
Amazing meal that was thoughtfully prepared. I brought my parents from out of town - mom has an allergy to shellfish so I called the restaurant ahead of time to see if there was the possibility of a 5-course meal that would suit her diet. They were able to make adjustments and delivered a very special meal. We were lucky enough to be served by the chef owner who took the time to tell us about the production, history of the restaurant and source of many of the ingredients in the meal. It was a truly special meal that my folks and I will remember and be chatting about for some time. Thank you Bogners! More...
The service and food were both amazing. Words cannot describe the experience. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top quality meal without spending top dollar.
Did a 4 course dinner and my partner had a 3 course dinner. The wine pairings went amazingly well with the dishes. The food was incredible and the ambiance was very nice. Service was beyond remarkable. Can't wait to come back. Thank you! More...
One of the best chefs in Penticton serving outstandingly delicious food. Living here or visiting Penticton this is a restaurant you must visit.
Food was great, very nice, unique dining experience! The people were amazing! Getting caught up visiting with a friend we didn’t notice how late it was, they didn’t make us feel like we were creating an inconvenience even though I know we were! Thank you for that, loved it!
BOGNERS is amazing in every category - always making for a wonderfully enjoyable dining experience. The owner and chef is truly talented at creating incredibly flavour-filled dishes. The service is first class and the ambiance beautiful. We always enjoy it. More...

Absolutely the best dining experience we have had in the city Penticton.
Food was fantastic!
Really enjoyed the 5 course family style dinner. Course progression was nicely thought out Best French Onion soup everGreat service. All around a memorable meal experience More...
Awesome spot. Lovely meal, great service. Loved it.
Can't think of anything negative. Professional all the way. Just know in advance; you have two choices and it's either a 4 course or 5 course meal with optional wine pairing. Not really a kids destination.
Delicious rack of lamb, creatively prepared. Excellent service - very knowledgeable about local wines and the wine scene. Attentive and caring service. High quality four course meal for a very reasonable fixed price. Highly recommend. More...
Smoked Arctic char on a home made Rye bread crisp with an unreal topping of basically a pickled cauliflower but much more as a start just to wet your whistle , then mini savory Beignets with a Beet stained Cabbage pickle also a salad of white Beets , Beet tops , Goat cheese and greens with a nice oil drizzle over it ..... so yummy ! Main course of AAA New York Strip cooked perfectly , crispy onion topper , garlic/ butter mash , My girl had prosciutto wrapped Chicken Breast , Gnocchi and delicious Green Beans and to follow plum cake with Vanilla pod ice cream for me and Chocolate Gnash cake for Char ! Darren and his Staff are awesome , this place is awesome , I can’t believe I’ve not been here before , we will certainly be back ! Two thumbs up , 5 stars out of 5 More...
The food was excellent and the service really friendly. My wife and I ordered their 5 course set menu with wine pairings and we had a great anniversary dinner. Highly recommend for those who wants to spend a nice evening as this is not a quick meal where they shove food in your face but rather let you enjoy the delicious food and company. More...
Our experience at Bogners was very nice. The food was excellent as was the service. Quiet and cozy atmosphere was perfect for a romantic dinner.
Limited menu choices.Small menu variety, but tasty.A bit pricey for portion size.Unhurried meal lots of time to converse with friends.
Farm to table style restaurant using very fresh ingredients. I had the five course meal and this has been the most flavourful meal in Penticton to date. As this meal is several courses be prepared to be at the restaurant for a few hours. Service is not rushed and lets you enjoy the food. More...
Another Penticton Gem omg I love this place. We went out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and decided to select the 4 Course meal with wine pairing. From the get go the hospitality was fabulous. All the food and wine is local fare . I will definitely be returning to this place again and again More...
This restaurant has been around for years. Hadn't been there for a long time and we were pleasantly surprised that everything was still excellent.
Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.
Very pleasant and tasty presentation on 8 Aug 2018 ~ we were celebrating my daughters 'late '30's' birthday and wanted to do something different. We decided on the 5 Course Meal (3 of 4 of us opted for the Wine Pairing as well). The presentation and explanation of the offerings was very well done.... one member is vegetarian and felt the quantity of veggies could be upped a wee bit, but did fine overall. The wine pairings were done well, and one will be worthy of a winery visit. I was sorry I had passed my Malbec off when the dessert of Black Forest Cake came at the end ~ there is just SOMETHING about 'chocolate and red' that makes both seem a little more decadent. The Berry Mustard with the first course Charcuterie was delightful, as was the Rye bread (2 toast points per diner? Please? The bread was delicious on its own). The pairing was Red Sangria ~ chock full of berries, and just the right sweetness. The Classic Okanagan Tomato Salad was a hit with the vegetarian, and the rest of the party understood the difference between a store tomato and a farm tomato. The pairing was Moraine Cliffhanger White that stood up perfectly to the vinaigrette. The Asian Pork Belly was the highlight of the meal ~ and I would have paid extra for more crabapple croquettes! The grilled peaches in the glaze were sought out amid the yellow beans and mung bean sprout nest and devoured with gusto. Paired with Van Weston Vivacious, the food was the star... the wine the supporting actor. The Flatbread with duck ham and duck confit was beautiful and most of it came home with us ~ on the heels of the Pork Belly, we couldn't attack the flatbread with the same interest. The pairing was the only red of the evening (fine with the party ~ we all prefer whites) this Riverstone Malbec 2015 - rich and pungent to the palette and the predictable satisfaction. Dessert: Cherry Black Forest cake - take my money, and bring the rest of that Malbec. More...
Fantastic food everytime we go. Awesome staff. Romantic & warm atmosphere. We go as a couple, family or group and Bogners has never disappointed.
It was great
My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary dinner and had the 40$ 5 course menu with the 25$ wine pairings. The food was fantastic as were the wines, it was 100% worth the price. And our server was amazing. We would definitely go back again. More...
Eat here quite often. This time dinner wasn’t as great as in past. Overly salty was t overly thrilled with the food but our server and the restaurant were great.
The Team at Bogner's never fails to deliver an outstanding meal and experience! Thanks again, we always appreciate our evening!
Bogners is excellent. Darin the chef is outstanding and the food is a taste sensation. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Our go to restaurant. Always excellent!
Visiting Penticton for the 1st time and went on Open Table and found this gem...really the food here is well prepared and very fresh....after the 4 course meal I believe I experienced every tasting sense possible. Will be back for sure. More...
The best wiener or veal schnitzel I've ever tasted!
Set in a beautiful old home surrounded by herb and vegetable gardens which supply some of the kitchens needs. Very formal dining room (there is a patio) with classic high-end white nappery. We had been there before but it had been a while if anything the place is better! We too were there on a Groupon which provided us a four course meal which began with wild boar and mushroom won ton. A small serving (two small each) but very tasty! The Caesar salad was to die for. Crisp whole romaine leaves and tangy-creamy dressing with lovely croutons but best of all crisp-fried double smoked bacon! We had the tournedos and CC had the grilled salmon. Both were 'lick the plate' yummy! There was a very good wine list--as you'd expect in wine country and the service was impeccable and very friendly. This is not a place for 'dine and dash' Rather it's a place to savor a lovely dinner with friends and some great food and wine. I was visiting a friend living in Penticton and had a groupon coupon (4 course dinner for 2). It was a set menu designed by the chef and it was delicious. The service was great as well. Overall, very pleased with this place and would certainly come back. More...
Had a groupon for a 3 course dinner for two and was unsure of what to expect.Ended up having a great time! Very cool old house, with beautiful hardwood floors, a brick entrance and old crown moldings. As far from the modern, sleek, hard-lined look that many go for these days. This was old school white table cloths and well laid out classic cutlery, it was very refreshing to find. Atmosphere was very homey, comforting and relaxing. Food was very good. Not quite great, but very good. Flavors were all good, a few things under seasoned, and the meat a touch tougher then it should have been. But still overall solid work.I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a less cold, modern hard space, and someone looking for elegance. More...
Absolutely excellent dining experience. Beautifully presented dishes with flavours that live up to the presentation. Finally a Canadian restaurant with potential worthy of a Michelin star ( come on Canada, we need one!). Complete review upcoming in outdrive.ca More...
