Bob Caceres Entertainment was amazing!! Bob did an outstanding job at our wedding and reception. He accommodated all of our requests and I had so many compliments on how great and fun the music selection was during the reception! He kept the party going, played great dance music for all ages and was very great to work with! I would highly recommend him for your DJ needs.

DJ Bobby was referred to me by a friend and I am so glad they did! From the first time we met him, we knew he was a perfect fit. He's not one of those cheesy DJs who annoys the guests which is what we wanted to avoid. DJ Bobby has a nice form you fill out with the music you want (and don't want) as well as lists different dances like father/daughter,etc that you may not always think of beforehand. For a very reasonable price, we had him for both the ceremony & reception. He provided a wireless mike for our officiant, came dressed in a nice suit and had a light set-up for the dance floor - all at no extra charge. Bob was an amazing DJ! He was really fun to work with, he provided outstanding service for us, he did more than just asked for a must play list, he provided us with a music planner and also took the time to meet with us a few times to get to know us and our music style. Communication was great and he was very professional. He asked us how he should dress, to make sure he fit the wedding. His cost is very very reasonable. Everyone was dancing at the reception and it seemed every one had a great time! My husband and I had a surprise first dance and he helped us plan for that and made us a CD based off the songs we wanted, that way we could practice our dance routine. Bob was great and really made the evening successful. He was able to play song that people from 25 to 75 loved and kept everyone dancing until the end of the night.

Since the wedding and the reception were in the same location, he also played all the wedding music, prearrival music and the cocktail hour music as well. He was also successful at MC-ing the night and keeping the part on track.

He was also able to handle a lot of flexibility and still keep the party going considering we only provided a couple of songs and allowed our guest to make lots of requests.

We would recommend Bob to anyone who is having a wedding in the greater Tacoma area. More...

Bob Caceres DJ'd for my wedding recently. I interviewed 3 DJ's, and of these, Bob was definitely the best choice. Before the wedding, you'll find you need to communicate lots of information with your vendors, and it's extremely helpful when they are responsive. Bob was willing to meet me and took the time to answer all of my questions. He exuded competence and came with a rave reference. Bob provided me with all the information I needed, and he did not complain when I provided the information he'd asked for in an e-mail rather than the provided form (which I'd misplaced). In addition, in the leadup to the wedding, Bob responded within 24 hours to every e-mail or phone call I made.

At the wedding, I thought Bob did a good job. The night was a blur, but I noticed the music playing at different times during the night reflected our requests. He was not an "in-your-face" DJ. Generally speaking, he mostly just played music as opposed to dominating the wedding and making lots of announcements. That's basically what we wanted. If you're looking for a really dominant DJ, Bob might not be the best choice, but I thought he did a good job.

My only complaint surrounds payment. I discussed payment with Bob on the Thursday before the wedding, and I thought we were in agreement that he would invoice us after the wedding for the balance. Instead, he demanded payment the night of. This was, in my opinion, somewhat classless. It was inconvenient and embarrassing running around looking for a checkbook the night of the wedding. Had I known he'd want to be paid the night of the event, I would have paid him in advance. In fairness to him, this is stated in the contract. However, I did not read the contract due to having discussed this verbally shortly before the event and agreeing on payment the week after. I suggest making very clear arrangements with Bob on this point. I considered reducing the rating to 3 stars because of this, but I think anyone else using Bob as More...
