I booked Blush after about a year of research into a team to come to us at my NYE wedding. Heather and her team were amazing. I had 7 bridesmaids and two mothers, all for hair and make up, and these girls made us look flawless. I’m not talking about a “do whatever you want” bridal party. We asked for glitter cut creases and full glam and these girls DELIVERED. All of us loved it. Jodie and Kaitlin especially did my hair and make up, and they were so amazing to work with, as a former hairstylist, I was blown away. Brides do not hesitate and BOOK THIS DREAM TEAM NOW. I booked two sessions for hair and makeup for two separate bikini/bodybuilding shows! I have had the first appointment and the girls did an amazing job. They really did the best work for the stage! Even though it might have felt like a lot of makeup/hair at first they knew that the stage would need a more over the top look! They did PERFECT and I am so glad I went. The girls from Blush Artistry are simply amazing! Heather is so awesome to deal with and super easy to get a hold of. I knew I was going to use Blush after seeing their work at my MOH’s wedding. Karly did my makeup and made me feel so beautiful that day. It did not budge from 11 am to 3 am, so so impressed. Jennifer did my hair and I felt like a mermaid, she worked well with the extensions I bought and the curls stayed in all day. My bridal party and mom’s hair and makeup was equally amazing. I used Blush artistry for my evening wedding reception this past Saturday. Booking was a bit confusing because when I paid my deposit several months ahead of time they did not tell me what time the appointment was booked for – I assumed they would confirm a time with me closer to the date. Instead I had to contact them a few weeks before the event and at that time they told me the time they had booked, which didn’t actually work for me. In the end Heather was flexible and able to change the hair stylist I was booked with and the time of my appointment. Karly did my makeup and she was so friendly and totally put me at ease and made me feel absolutely beautiful! Heather and another member of her team did all the makeup for my wedding in 2015; mine, my bridesmaids, my mother’s, and my mother-in-laws. We were all really impressed with how everyone looked and how long lasting it was and it was a great experience having them come to my home. Blush Artistry is the BEST! I used their services for both my engagement photos and wedding day. Cassandra did my hair for my engagement photos. I gave her very vague direction by showing some photos for inspiration, as I wanted a retro inspired hairstyle, but liked several different looks. She combined them into a beautiful style that perfectly went with my vintage style engagement photos, and it lasted all evening through my photos without looking too "crispy." For my July 2018 wedding, Christine did my hair and Karly did my makeup. They exactly captured my vision even though I am horrible at explaining what I want. The hair lasted ALL DAY through 30-40 km/h winds and rain, and looked great even at 2 AM when I went to take it down. It was soft and dreamy without looking messy, windswept, or falling out. It was absolutely perfect! Karly was excellent to work with for makeup, and asked many questions about my usual makeup routine to make sure I would be comfortable with the final result. Nirali is an enthusiastic and fun loving personality, she is also passionate about her job. She's excellent at what she delivers and keeps a stressed out bride calm. Without nirali I would have been late for my civil ceremony, she managed to get me ready for my event in 1 hour after our delay to Paris for my big day. She was calm and quick but at the same time joking around to keep me calm even though the pressure was on herself she never let me down and didn't tell me about the ongoing at the ceremony place. I was really happy with her service and made me look amazing as I like a natural look. She also done my pre wedding looks, each with different looks. Blush Artistry is amazing! As someone who does professional theatre & a lot of modeling gigs, I was concerned that I wouldn't get to feel that WOW on my wedding day from hair & makeup. Today I had my hair styled by Janelle and my makeup applied by Karly!! These ladies did an amazing job! Very fun and you can tell they LOVE what they do! We discussed what look I wanted for my boudoir photos and they did exactly what I had described and asked during the hair and makeup process how I was like the look and if I wanted to make any changes! Shannon and Darlene did a phenomenal job on our makeup for my wedding this past weekend! They listened to our individual requests (sometimes more than one request per girl! ) and gave us exactly what we wanted. They were not only very professional, but also a lot of fun to be around.
