I planned my April 22nd wedding out of state, and Blush and Bashful was able to accommodate my limited schedule for a trial run since I had to fly in for it. They also fit me in last minute when I added an up-do for my rehearsal dinner. Nicole and her team did a great job with the whole bridal party and they were very receptive to each individual's wants. If I had only one complaint, it was the confusion of the location for the trial, which was partly my fault. Definitely go to the shop located on Tchoupitoulas and not the location listed on the site! I would recommend for anyone looking for makeup and hair services for their bridal party. More...

Nicole did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup for my recent wedding. She was so patient in trying several different hairstyles until we found the right one, which was so lovely. Also, after our initial consultation (which was extremely helpful) I decided to go a different route with my makeup and rather than trying to convince me to stick with the original plan, she listened to my thoughts and ended up doing a perfect job with my makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, and rather than looking overly made-up, she gave me wonderfully natural, simple makeup that looks amazing in photos. Blush and Bashful exceeded every expectation I had- and I was a very particular bride. First, during planning for the big day, Patti was understanding of my worry of planning a wedding from out of state and was always available to answer every question/ concern I had. Stacy and Patti continuously eased all my nerves and left nothing to chance on the big day. The trial session with Stacy was the first moment where I felt like I could breath in days! She was patient, kind, and specifically tweaked my hair to work with me and my face- she didn't just throw my hair in an up-do and call it a day. Her calm and collected demeanor continued through not only my hair on the big day, but the acute attention to detail and great visions went into all the hair dos for the wedding- all dramatically different yet all magically wonderful! Her and the other hair stylist worked vigorously to fulfill each girls exact wishes while also winning the battle against difficult weather conditions. The hair and make-up lasted from 7am on Saturday to 3am on Sunday! We had them come to our hotel room to originally get 11 hairs done and 7 make ups. Patti did all the make-ups and, my goodness!!, she was perfect in enhancing all the girls natural beauty while making the looks as dramatic or subtle as each girl wanted. She even fit two extra spectacular make-up jobs in, which my mom and my aunt are still so thankful for! It was great to have them cover every need in such a convenient way for the bridal party! They literally had every angle covered and I could not be more pleased and blessed to have happened upon them! If I did it all over again, I would choose them and worry a whole lot less!! More...

Holly and Nicole were fantastic, professional and knew how to work with different hair and skin types.
