I recently booked Mr Custard to come and entertain the children at my sons birthday party and he really went above and beyond! He arrived on time, fully engaged with each child but more to the point he made my little boys birthday one to remember as Mr custard is all he talks about now. He kept the focus on my son which is what it was about, his pricing is more than reasonable for everything that he does and would definitely book him again! How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been performing magic for children for 20 years following my success as an adult D.J. I now concentrate on doing the best for my customers children by using silly magic to maximise the fun.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
There are 5 Party Options:
BUDGET @ £120 Ideal when bouncy castles and/or face painters are also in attendance.
The 1 hour show is £120 and involves very silly magic where the children join in with the tricks.
There is music playing while I am setting up. I use my system for Musical bumps, statues,
wind the bobbin up etc. I start with singing the birthday song with the children but
get it wrong so the children can correct me. The magic show lasts about 25 minutes and is full
of more silly nonsense, thankfully the children are cleverer than Mr Custard and always get the
magic right. When the magic is finished the children are given the chance to burn some energy with
dancing competitions and more games. The end of my performance features a unique game where every child gets a small toy.
I have a no sugar policy to support
Jamie Oliver’s Sugar Rush campaign. As a result the children get rewarded with achievement stickers
and personalised certificates instead of sweets. This year I have also upgraded my show and bring a
little disco light to go with the music to add to the party atmosphere.
SUPER SAVER @ £150
The super savers show (recommend) is 90 minutes @ £150 it involves everything that the 1 hour
show offers but has more games such as Limbo, The Pea Brain Game and other traditional party games.
I recommend this show as the children are entertained for all the time I am with them and they can
be fed at the end of my show. The last thing parents need is for food to be wasted because of
distractions from the entertainer.
The Full Monty @ £170
Is the same as the 90 minute show apart from the break for food half way through the performance.
Some customers are happy to pay the extra cost and have their entertainer ready for action.
The Bluenose Disco is ideal for older children who just can’t sit still during parties.
With the latest music and action songs children get the chance to burn off their energy.
Games such as Pirates and Islands, The Pea Brain Game, Musical Statues, Space Hopping Races, Musical Chairs and Bumps
& Limbo create lots of Fun too!
Supporting Jamie Oliver’s Sugar Rush campaign Bob “Bluenose” has introduced the NO SUGAR POLICY for his shows.
Instead of sweets children are rewarded with certificates, stickers and toys.
In-between all the “sillyness” Bob has fun with Rocket Balloons that the children absolutely love.
This is NOT a “sit behind the decks experience” as Bob
loves keeping the children busy with games and activities. The 2 hour show with a break for food in the middle is £170 but the super saver is £150
(the children have the food after the 90 minutes of pure energy).
Mix and mingle with balloon modelling, rocket balloons and tattoos.
All my shows are issue with email paperwork. Deposits are by paypal giving the customer and ourselves maximum financial security. I have Public Liability, Police Checks and a Guaranteed Service Policy.

Seeing children having a lovely time and listening to their chuckles.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing customers getting a good service and knowing that I am responsible for their satisfaction.
Why should our clients choose you?
I always provide customers with the right entertainer for the right function. If the skills they need are not in my portfolio then I commission artists who can fulfil the booking effectively. Paperwork is always issued so customers know exactly what they have signed up to and how they are expected to pay. Children are only little once so every show has to be special.
