Sharon did a fantastic job on shortening my Maid of Honour dress at a very, very short notice! She made me feel very comfortable when visiting her for consultation and I loved wearing the dress. Highly recommended!!

Sharon at Blue Lily Magnolia recently adjusted my wedding dress including taking up the length, fitting the bodice, adding a waist stay, adding a bustle and making some sleeves/straps when I wasn't too sure about the dress I had bought. From when I first reached out to her Sharon was extremely kind, and professional, reassuring me we could find a way to make me feel better in the dress and sending multiple (impressive) sketches of her ideas based on only a few comments and photos over email. I made two trips to see Sharon, once for her to fit the dress and then a second for a final fitting. At the first fitting Sharon had obviously been thinking through what we had spoken about ahead of time and was able to present me with several ideas and material options she had sourced ahead of time. Following the final fitting I was worried that the dress was a little tight but it seems Sharon knows that last minute wedding stress can make you lose a few pounds and had accounted for this - the dress fit absolutely perfectly on the day and was not tight at all but I was not worried about it falling down which was one of my previous worries! All of the work done was very fine and high quality and the price charged was extremely reasonable when there was so much work involved. I will definitely keep Sharon and Blue Lily Magnolia in mind if I need anything else tailoring! More...

I was looking for a bespoke hair piece as a wedding gift for a friend. It needs to use the same lace that was used on the bride's dress to match. Sharon understand what I needed instantly and designed the beautiful and elegant hair comb which the bride fell in love immediately. Sharon is a very talented lady who is very creative and pays great attention to details. She will listen to your needs and try her best to design the unique piece that suited you the best. for our wedding, Sharon provided the corsage and the boutonniere. Sharon suggested a dusty-pink colour theme to match our colour scheme. This is now our favourite colour! Both items were delicately made and looked wonderful in the pictures complimenting our outfits. As they were specially made for the occasion, these now form part of the great mementos of our special day and have found its way into our treasure box. More...
