Firstly I would like to say I never write reviews but feel that we have been so impressed by the service we have received from Eliot. When we called the number on a Sunday afternoon, Eliot was there immediately and put our mind to rest instantly. He came and sorted out the problem the very next day and as we had to leave the house for a period of time even called me to make sure I was back in the house and everything was ok. He was so knowledgable and didn’t mind that I asked him a number of questions. I never felt that I was being a nuisance or an inconvenience. He always responds to my texts or if I leave a message on his phone he always calls me back. The one word we felt was relieved when we met Eliot. Excellent service from Eliot. We have had rats for over 3 years and have not been able to get rid of them. After paying out hundreds of pounds over the years we were ready to give up. We were recommeded Blue Light Pest Control by a friend. We continually had major rat issues for over two years with our neigbours and we were all at wit's end. The council and other private companies always baited the areas and ripped up areas trying to remidy the problem - it never worked. From the outset, Elliot wanted to find the root source of where the rats were getting into our homes. He was very professional from beginning to end, very polite and friendly. Elliot initally carried out his investigations and then followed up with more visits to get to the bottom of things. I called up at 6:30pm on a Friday evening, asking for an emergency removal of a wasps nest. Eliot was with me within an hour and informed me that it was actually honey bees! Eliot at blue light pest control provides an excellent service from start to finish. My brother had a rat / squirrel problem in the loft and after pest control treatment required the removal of all insulation and a disinfectant treatment. Eliot is a professional at what he does, He worked into the evening to have the job completed in one day as quoted. He is extremely knowledgeable and puts you at ease. The price is very fair. We had a rat infestation in our Loft and needed to find a Pest Control company. Looking extensively on line, we were lucky to find Blue Light Pest Control who offered a loft sanitisation service, after the rats had been exterminated. As this was very important to us, we chose Eliot Mortimore and his firm to deal with our particular issue. As a result of employing him, 7 rats were killed, the house turned into a fortress against future rodent infestation and our loft and garage were fully sanitised. For us, this last part was so important, with all the contaminated insulation removed, the boards and rafters scrubbed with anti-rodent disinfectant, the whole loft space fumigated and finally new insulation installed. We cannot praise Blue Light Pest Control enough. Eliot is very polite, patient, professional and responsive. Therefore, if this ever happens again, then we will just call Eliot at Blue Light. Eliot responded immediately the next day after my phone call even though it was a bank holiday. Masonry bees have set up shop on the sunny side of my building, leading to a great deal of anxiety! Elliot however was thankfully calm, efficient and professional. He listened to my fears, took the time to talk me through each one, gave me information to read up on at a later date. I highly recommend Blue Light Pest Control. I called them as a bird had flown into my mother’s house. She was on her own and unable to get it out. Elliot was so friendly and helpful. I contacted Eliot as I found what I thought was a rat hole next to my house. He determined quickly that it was a mouse hole, not a rat and put a camera up overnight to see what was going on, so he could determine what to do. Eliot went above and beyond to solve our pest issue and eradicated our problem quickly and efficiently.

We had wasp nests above three dormer windows and I whilst I can normally tackle wasp nests, not on top of a ladder thank you!
So called Blue Light and Eliot was out the same day. He used his long reach dust puffer (no ladder required) and the job was completed quickly. Same time next day, no more wasps.

I found a bees nest in the lawn ahead of the arrival of our new puppy. Elliot came out at incredibly short notice (on a Saturday evening! ) and explained that they were probably tree bees and he hoped to re-home them. We were gardening today 24 June (Sunday) and found a bees nest under our BBQ stand. I didn't call direct to blue light but another company and we got lucky! Eliot came and said we had tree bees which are apparently really useful. Instead of using any insecticides he removed the nest and has taken it to be relocated! Fast service and easy to deal with

Tenant reported wasps nest in flat. Working via our letting agent, Eliot arranged with the tenant to attend next day and sorted the problem: in fact he diagnosed that the nest was empty and the large wasp seen was the queen leaving.
