I booked a recording session to record voice over narration for corporate compliance e-learning programs for my job. I sent email inquiries to three different studios and Jeff responded by telephone within 10 minutes after I pressed send. He assured me that they had the requisite experience and could do what we needed.

I am a voice over novice, having only been in a recording studio once before. On recording day, I couldn't have felt anymore welcomed to the studio by Jeff and Nilvia. Jeff gave great direction and feedback during the recording session, and he paid close attention to the script to ensure that I spoke every word correctly. He was also a pro at suggesting grammatical changes, pace, and intonation. The e-learning development team at my job was pleased with the final audio, saying that it is clear, has a good pace and is engaging without being overwhelming.

I definitely plan to use Blue House for future voice over work for my company, and also some other voice over services, personally. Both Jeff and Nilvia have been very supportive in encouraging me to explore and pursue doing other types of voice over work. I highly recommend Blue House, without any hesitation! More...

Jeff coached my daughter's informal high school jazz group through the wickets of their first recording. Everyone had a terrific time. Jeff makes the point that listening to your recording is one of the best ways to improve your technique. Seems obvious, but we only have casual recordings after all these years. Recorded part of my album, Acronyms at Blue House Studios. The recording session was at 3am but the engineer Jeff Gruber was fantastic and dedicated to the session despite it being in the wee hours of the morning.
