I hired Grace as a personal trainer a few years ago as I suffer from debilitating chronic widespread pain and wanted to get back to moving again. Grace was brilliant and tailored all the movements and exercises to suit my particular circumstances. It wasn't easy going, but after a few months I was so much stronger and able to get back to the gym (and I have the added bonus of now being able to hula hoop! ). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grace and Blue Banana Fitness to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation. More...

Loved PARK CORE. I much prefer exercising outside in the fresh air. And Grace is so motivating I worked so much harder than I would have done in the gym.

Grace and Gordon got me from occasional runner to finishing a marathon with pleasure. They are both skilled experts in fitness who understand people well. We take a holistic approach, looking at previous and current habits to find an achievable exercise regime suitable to the client. With a combined total of 40 years experience in the industry, we know what works and how to adapt things for individuals. We can visit you at home or meet in a park for any level of outdoor training. Qualified in Cardiac Rehab, Cancer Rehab, Falls Prevention, we are able to help people even with very low fitness levels, using sound fitness principles.
We use a lot of body weight exercises, kettlebells, TRX, agility drills-all sorts of things which help boost metabolism, burn up calories and improve overall fitness.

Fun and enjoyment are an essential part of a Blue Banana workout, we help you train smart, without the slog!

Consistency. The training is important, rest, sleep, nutrition, goal-setting, enjoyment are too, but the vital thing is to understand it's a journey and you must keep moving.

It's varied and fun. I enjoy it. I worked in gyms for the best part of 20 years and it was good at times but very constricting. I now have the freedom to do what I love.

After 23 years of working in the fitness industry, I felt I needed more freedom to get out and do what I loved, which is training people and helping them achieve better fitness.

Very gentle circuit class, based on a cardiac rehab model. Will help to get circulation going, improve lung function and balance and may help to reduce reliance on medication.

Metafit is a high intensity, high energy fitness class designed to get maximum fitness benefits in the minimum time. Outdoor class, all weathers.
