Blooming Cow Flowers is a natural style florists and flower grower based at The Lavender Farm in Alton, Hampshire.
In addition to the workshop on the farm we also have half an acre of land where we grow a wealth of flowers, foliage, herbs and seed heads for use in our designs.

Becky created a beautiful arrangement of flowers for our wedding out of little to no guidance from me, and was so lovely to work with!
Being uncreative, I wasn't sure how I wanted to flowers to look but Becky gave the time to speak through different ideas about types of flowers, colours and styles for that time of year and made the most beautiful bouquets and table centres.
Leading up to the wedding and on the day, Becky was so calm about everything that I really did not worry at all. All the flowers arrived with beautiful colours and so fresh, and smelling lovely!
I would highly recommend using Blooming Cow Flowers for your wedding flowers x

Becky was amazing in helping me plan the flowers for my wedding and the execution was even better on the day.
Becky provided an amazing service, I honestly don’t know how she did everything including flowers in the church, flowers for the bridal party hair, edible flowers for the cake (which she also decorated and they looked amazing!
) and provided our welcome cocktails.....thank you for helping make our day so special!
All of this and knowing that the flowers were grown just up the road from the venue - amazing!

Becky gave a fun and fantastic Christmas Centerpiece demonstration to our Gardeners Club last week. She explained every step really clearly and made it seem so easy it inspired me to have a go (and I'm not floraly gifted! ) but even I was impressed with the result! She'd obviously put loads of thought and care in to the evening and brought brilliant little kits along so we could re-create at home. What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy with flowers! As well as the designing and growing side. Doing my little bit for the environment (especially the bees!) with the flowers I grow without the use of chemicals. There's nothing I like more than settling down in my workshop with a cup of tea, some talk radio and a conveyor belt of button holes to prepare! My little work shop can look like a flower bomb has hit it at times - but it really is the prettiest mess!
What inspired you to start your own business?
This business is all about combining my two loves and skills: Floristry and Horticulture. Both of which have been a part of my life since I was small. I chose to open my own business instead of work for a commercial flower shop because I wanted to stay true to my own way of designing. My take on the business of floristry is less commercial than most. I wanted to be able to design in a very natural way as well as offer something a little more unusual.
