I have been going to see Jan for the last few months and I can highly recommend the Blemish Clinic and all the staff. From the first appintment/consultation Jan made me feal at ease and explained what would be needed to improve my skin . 2 months on and my skin is great, i look so much better and I am only half way through my treatment . Also been having regular hydrafacials and this facial is brilliant. The results are amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also had a mole removal with Jan and have not got any scarring 2 weeks on. I had a small cyst type lump on my chest that I really wanted to have removed. My GP said that this was something that the NHS would’t treat and suggested I try the Blemish Clinic. I have been coming here for treatments for atleast 3 years now, I had facial asymmetry as a result of an accident, and Jan has been treating me with sculptra, and other treatments over the years, the results are amazing, I'm really happy that I found Jan, and you would have to see to believe the wonders that she has done, I dont believe I could have achieved such results had I gone anywhere else, she always makes you feel welcome and at ease, and although I am a little anxious when it comes to needles in the affected side of my face, she has been so patient and understanding and worked with me, I cant thank her enough, and would completely recommend her

Have been visiting Jan at Blemish Clinic for over 15 years. Have followed her around from Middleton to Manchester to Rawtenstall. I love the ambience of the clinic, the smell of the candles when you walk in, the lovely reception staff, the relaxed atmosphere, but most of all, Jan makes me look the way I want to look. She wont do a treatment unless she thinks its for me, ask for an 8point facelift, haven't got one as not the right shaped face etc etc. She has looked after me for a long time, would highly recommend to any potential male/female, who just wants to look fresh and lively, without the look of ridiculous lips and Dr Spock eyebrows! So even before I started with the blemish clinics new derma wrap trials I felt the need to contact Jan Birch as I had a growth on my nose which was totally unrelated with my psoriasis but which was causing me much distress and uncertainty spanning a period of visits to my GP. I was given informative and helpful advice that enabled me to understand exactly what the issue was.and think about my options going forward. Disregarding the derma wrap trial(Which is going great so far!) Jan and the Blemish Clinic have and still are offering both help, support and advice which is greatly appreciated. I attended Blemish last Friday to have lip filler. First impressions as you walk through the door – beautiful aromas from scented candles scattered across reception, left me feeling very relaxed. I saw Jan, the Clinic Director. After a 20 min consultation I first had the numbing cream applied around my mouth. What I had forgotten to relay to Jan, after I had signed the consent form, is that due to the weather I had been using a rather potent cream on my lips to stop them becoming even more chapped, and although I hadn’t used the cream for a week, I should have told her. After 30 minutes of the cream numbing, my lips swelled to twice the normal size. As Jan came in to check on me, she instantly said “What have you been using that you didn’t tell me about”; She instantly wiped away the cream, applied an icepack and then sent her assistant across to the chemist for a prescription to bring down the swelling. This was all done within 6 minutes. Amazing. She gave me also a prescription to take with me to get the next day, however, that night I was back to normal. Although I didn’t get my lips done, I will be but thank goodness this clinic has the right professional, personnel with medical training to exercise such a quick response to a dreadful situation. My lips swelled so much they looked like they would burst, and then it moved to my cheek, but just a note to these young girls who attend ‘so called professional clinics’ who would be totally unequipped to deal with this. Always go to someone like The Blemish Clinic because I would have hate to think what would have happened had I not been in safe hands. Thank you Jan, I certainly will be recommending friends to you, and I will be in to see you next week – when perhaps Review Number 2 will be posted - and I can have my lips done! More...

I have had Botox, face and lip filler procedures from Jan for many years. Jan has applied her knowledge and experience to the highest of standards. She thoroughly discusses what you hope to achieve and what will enhance your features. This makes for a more personal and specific approach. This approach has also been applied in regards to my skin. I have Rosacea and very sensitive skin which has caused me to have extremely sore and red outbreaks. Jan has recommended and advised me on what to ask from my GP to treat and ease in the long term. Jan is also up to date with the latest developments and procedures.My most recent procedure has been a non surgical Blepharoplasty. I have heavy eyelids which have become droopy over the years (and starting to impact on my vision) and thought the only way to treat this was with cosmetic surgery. Jan knew this was a major concern to me and recommended upper eyelid Blepharoplasy. The result is amazing. I look younger, fresher and healthy ! I will soon be having the lower eyelids done. What Jan doesn't know about dermatology is not worth knowing!I recently visited in a panic about a mole. It was promptly removed examined. I was reassured. It went for histology and we got the report back quickly and all was good. I then took my son who was suffering with his skin. He was given an amazingly thorough consultation. Diagnosed. Absolutely delighted after the removal of three moles from my face. Really professional but also very friendly (I was refused treatment on the NHS even though one of my moles had grown considerably in a short period of time). Had my first experience of upper blepharoplasty in October 2017 with a follow up treatment in November. The results were amazing, I believe the treatment has taken 20 years of my eyes, not only have my eyelids lifted, even the small creases around the corner of my eyes have been eliminated.
