I have been stopping here for years, always a great place to stay at , the site is always tidy and facilities clean and convenient, i love the showers, hot and powerful, unusual for a campsite :) |We stayed with electric hookup and stayed a few weeks later without hookup. |The WiFi is very handy. |The staff are great too, friendly and informative never intrusive.|we booked and turned up on a great campsite, explored the coastal path and local beaches.|Will go back next year, if only for a shower|;) More...

Nice campsite with almost perfect grass. Some flat areas and good facilities. They even provide a kettle and good outdoor sinks . Free showers . Staff were very helpful. There is even a cafe in the morning available. More...

Stay here last night to be close to ferry port. Arrived late as we agreed with Moria. Lovely clean site, shower block & loo’s were clean too. Lovely field to walk our dog round too. Would recommend & would definitely visit again. Regards Nic More...

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay in the Ddraenan loft room. This was en-suite and lovely and cosy complete with a sofa, double bed, skylight windows (which were most welcome on the hot and/or humid summer evenings), separate table and chair, TV and table, ample tea, coffee, fresh drinking water and biscuits, as well as really nice hand wash. The view out of our bedroom window was out of this world too with the Irish Sea in the distance. ||Ultimately with stays like this it is often the little things that count and this was no different. The staff were all so friendly and could not do enough to help. The breakfast and choices were excellent as was the fresh (not from concentrate apple and orange) juices, freshly brewed coffee and tea. The meats were sourced from local butchers and the eggs from a local farm. The cleaners left an extra handrail towel each day as well as the standard 2 towels per person which was a nice touch. There was even a very cute on site shop that carried all the little essentials you might need including some locally supplied items. On one of the 4 mornings I required an early breakfast due to an event I was attending and the staff were so friendly in informing us what we could help ourselves to etc. Thank you very much for your warm Welsh welcome, being down to earth despite running such an impressive operation, and having the craic at breakfast or in passing. You made us feel at home and at ease and we would not hesitate to recommend Blackthorn Farm to anybody. More...

Spent the night camping during a tour of Anglesey. On arrival I was met by extremely helpful staff who couldn't do enough & even offered to charge my phone if needed. The campsite is well kept with nice short grass & I had a choice of pitch. The facilities were spotless with toilets, hot showers & washing up area. The site is well located on the coastal path between Treaddur Bay & South Stack lighthouse which are both worth a visit & if you can walk the coastal path to each from the campsite. The only downside for me is that the campsite do not allow fires & I do like to light my firepit at night. However the pros outweigh the cons & following my experience I could not give any less than 5/5 for this site. More...

Stayed the night at Blackthorn Farm camping in my tent. On arrival staff were very friendly & couldn't do enough for me even offering to charge my phone if needed. Camping field is well kept with nice short flat grass pitches. Facilities are nice & clean with everything you could possibly want. The only negative is no Fire Pits allowed & I do like a night time fire when camping. Even with this is mind I will still give 5/5 for this campsite at the pros definitely outweigh the cons. More...
