I never write reviews but for this one I had to. I will be back here again and will definitely tell everyone about this place. The service was one of the best I've ever had and the food was amazing and unique. The chef even made up a delicious vegetarian dish for my girlfriend who doesn't eat meat. My vegetarian girlfriend has been here three times without me and is the one who recommended it. Not bad for a place renown for its meat.. chapeau! More...

Over the last 8 months, my boyfriend and I have made it to Blackbelly multiple times. This post is an average of the last 3 times we’ve been with various friends. For food, I ordered my go-to—the Blackbelly Burger with bacon, no cheese. The fries are tasty, but I get it for the perfectly salted patty.Charles and his sister ordered the beef flank steak (pictured) and thought it was seasoned nicely.Cocktails were tasty all around with unique, balanced flavors. Shout out to the mixologists in the house.To pair with my burger, I got a smooth lager that doesn’t fill me up before I get my helping of fries.This attention to detail warms my heart: the butter was a perfect temperature. Isn’t it annoying to get butter too chilled to spread? Well, not here. The butter was a great match to that tasty bread. I do appreciate a good slice of artisan bread.For the environment, the noise level each time is too high for comfortable conversation. The music might be a fine decibel, but sound carries without any visible sound buffers—or maybe not enough buffers.We usually had to repeat ourselves and raise our voices, even though we’re a few feet away. Our waiter recognized us from the previous couple of times, that was nice to see a familiar face.Recommend if you want an expertly prepared steak or pork chop with equally delicious side dishes.
