Amazing local cafe. Roasts its own beans and bakes and cooks everything from scratch. Very friendly staff and community oriented. If you want to support local suppliers instead of big corporations and still want quality service and products, this is the place to go. My children and I love their soup, bread, sandwiches, tarts, etc. All baristas know how to make a good latte. More...

This cafe is truly a hidden gem in the heart of London. The staff were friendly and attentive, the menu options and dairy alternatives plentiful, the wait time minimal. Such a cozy, good vibe, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend the cafe mocha with coconut milk, delicious!! More...

Black Walnut Bakery Cafe has the best baked goods in town. Everything is always fresh and delicious. For lunch, I love the chicken pot pie or one of the soups, which are always flavourful. The staff is friendly and the cafe itself is warm and cozy. In warm weather the option exists to sit outside. This is a great place to meet a friend for a cup of tea or coffee, have a snack and chat. Parking is on the street, but since Wortley Village is lovely, and a great place for walking, I don't consider that a drawback in the least. More...

Over the years I have become a fan of trendy hip cafes in vibrant communities, and the Black Walnut is one! This place makes lunches, sandwiches, pizza, and most importantly is known for the coffee and desserts. Delicious coffee, specialty drinks and food. My friend and I had chocolate banana bread and a curry chicken sandwich. We really enjoyed the food and drinks and will definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere for coffee with a friend or date. More...

I love chilling here with my friends. The staff are wonderful, the coffee is great, and the treats are delicious! 10/10 every time. I recommend the brownies if you see them available! Ask to get them heated . I apologize for not having a photo of the brownies because I tend to eat them before I remember to take a photo More...

I worked at Black Walnut when it first opened in Wortley Village. Every last detail, from the quality of menu items, to the decor, to the variety of options - has always been great quality. Cruffins are my favourite thing in the whole world, and this place has honestly perfected them. I do prefer the space and layout of the Richmond Row location, but you cant be the community feeling of Wortley. If you haven't been here, go! Especially on a Saturday between 10-12pm - so you can try their exceptional sticky buns. More...

One of my favorite Cafes. They have a great selection of food, treats with fantastic coffee. The Baristas are courteous, kind and can do wonderful latte art. The only reason it's not 5 stars is they don't have wifi, which makes me sad cause I tend to have to go to other coffee shops to do work. More...

I like their oatmeal and date scone. This location is generally quite busy at any time of the day with a lot of groups sitting and hanging. Nice spot to lounge. Not wheelchair/stroller friendly but they have outdoor seating if someone can order for you (if you in a w/c). It's also a bit tight inside to navigate a w/c or stroller. Coffee is good. More...
