My son joined this gym through the city's 8 week program, as soon as it was over he wanted to sign up! He's been going for a few months and looks forward to each class. My family are new to the area we wanted something to do with our kids who range in age from 4-8 we went to other martial arts dojos and my kids were very uncomfortable even to the point of tears. We then went to Black Lotus who welcomed us in as part of their family of students the owners run the dojo in that way they treat everyone like their own family no matter what level you are. All the instructores that we have dealt with are incredible. The people that train there are also incredible and very welcoming as well. This dojo is all about respect patience and guidance. More...

Since the first time me and my husband attended a class at black Lotus Kickboxing, we loved it! The owners are so nice, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, hardworking, and have such a great way of teaching that makes it easier to understand and follow. The other students are also so friendly and always helping each other out. Either with helping to perfect a skill, or just being supportive. There’s closer kickboxing classes to us but we would rather drive the hour to black lotus because to us it’s worth it. They make you feel like family and are constantly improving their home with neat class ideas, outings, trips, equipment, etc.... I am looking forward to many years here! More...

What can I say about this amazing club. They truly make you feel like family. Doesn’t matter what level you’re at, every member is there and willing to help. If you aren’t quite sure if you’re doing the technique correctly, the instructors will assist you and make sure you understand how and why you do it that particular way. I can see how some may be intimidated by the atmosphere in general, but once you step onto the mat you become a welcomed member. Always a great time and a great workout.
