I had Biyang as a counselor when I was in the university. I was overwhelmed by school work, personal life, and high expectation for myself. She helped me to see different aspects of life and take one step at a time. She taught me not to be too hash on myself and how to manage my stress and at the same time to enjoy my life. People will naturally know if others care about you or not. I can tell Biyang truly cares about me. I like that how she let the conversation flow and do not push me to answer any questions. My native language is Chinese and her fluent Mandarin made me more comfortable to share my stories with her. If you are a college student whose native language is Chinese and also struggle with the same problems as me, choose Biyang and she will try her best to help you! More...

Q&As

Coaching challenges me to live my life according to the values that I also encourage for my clients. Therefore, it is an exciting and renewed challenge everyday to reflect on myself as I also reflect on my practice. I can help others feel understood and accepted, giving them the empathy that I myself learned by overcoming my personal challenges. It's the process of giving back.

As a psychotherapist, I always asked my clients to define what their dreams are, and identify the steps to follow their passions. Overtime, I began to ask myself the same question: Biyang, are you where you'd like to be right now? I realized that I wanted to travel, so that I can learn about people from all cultures and back grounds to better understand their stories. Therefore, I started my business to work remotely so that I can do what I love while challenging myself to new experiences.

My number one philosophy is authenticity. I believe that if I talk to clients about one thing, then I should have the courage to live that way as well. Therefore, I try to apply my professional principles to my personal life. As your coach, you can be assured that I've gone through similar struggles, and have overcome them, so you are not only getting my professional expertise, to the insights from someone who you can truly relate to.
