Family-owned business operating for years and conveniently located in the central business district of Irvine near the airport. Service is warm, friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the gorgeous couture arrangements they specialize in. Shirin, the owner and artist doing these impressive arrangements, helped me with a stunning tabletop island bouquet for an International Women's Day celebration at the office (see photos). Shirin was such a pleasure to work with and she created arrangements that were even more beautiful than I imagined for our Awards event in the Inland Empire. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. Shirin/ BOP has done florals for my wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, events I've hosted and any arrangement I've needed as a gift for years! I am always floored by her creativity and people always ask about her and compliment her work when they see it. It's just so different! I usually provide an inspo picture to give her an idea of color or style I'm looking for and give her the freedom to put together something of her own choosing. Paradise alright. $65 for the best floral arrangement I've ever sent. Ordered in am, my daughter had them by lunchtime. Unique flowers, speedy delivery, uber reasonable prices and only $15 to deliver it. Vase of high quality -- not flimsy glass. Such a pleasant experience!Appreciate the effort to collaborate on making this beautiful flowers arrangement as a prototype of the one I saw on their yelp page at pictures. I called last minute on Tuesday to order a bouquet for Admin day. I had a budget and told them, then requested specific types of flowers and let them know I was looking for a spring color palette. He said they could deliver around 2pm - I had asked if they could deliver in the morning and he said probably not because they were very booked for Admin day. So happy that I found this florist! My boss called me from out of town at 6:30 a.m. and asked me to send flowers to his wife for their 60th anniversary that day. He also asked that they be delivered before noon when she was hosting a ladies lunch so she could show them off to her friends I Googled local florist and found Bird of Paradise and called them hoping to leave a message so they could call me when they arrived in the store. I was surprised when the phone was actually picked up and the store owner took some basic information and said she would call me when the store opened but that they could absolutely have a gorgeous arrangement delivered in time. Sure enough she called me back at 9am took the rest of my information and styled the most gorgeous arrangement for my bosses wife! I am so pleased with the customer service and quality of flowers I will absolutely use them again and have sent referrals to all my friends so that they know that there's a local florist that can provide beautiful stylish high-quality arrangements. My first time to this shop I came 45 minutes past closing. The door locked, the lights out. As I walked back to my car a woman rolled down her car window and asked if I needed something. It was the owner, about to leave for the evening. I said I hoped to buy my wife some flowers. She thought about it for a moment, turned off her car, and then reopened up the shop.She prepared a beautiful bouquet for a great price. Shirin was contracted for our wedding, She is the most amazing unique florist out there! After extensive research we found her through a family member. I can't stress enough how well Shirin knows her flowers and color matching expertise. Keep in mind she is not your standard stereotype florist, she has her unique eye. Shirin is amazing. she has always come through for me personally and for my work. I do a lot of high end catering lunches, meetings & dinners and she has always done amazing work. she is a pleasure to work with and also has helped me out with hectic last minute situations.I've also had new bosses say they want a comparison done with her arrangements and their preferred florists they have used and every single time Shirin has blown them away. she has that special touch with all the arrangements.I really don't understand a couple of the bad reviews here. In all my 9 years of using BOP, i have NEVER had a bad arrangement or seen anything done half way or without effort. All of them have always been top notch. I'm BIG on customer service. I also respect various forms of art. Not in a fartsy type of way. Just in a way that shows the person performing had a passion for what they do. Queue the owner of Birds of Paradise. I was in search of a new florist around where I work and found BOP on yelp and decided to give them a look-see. The owner dropped everything she was doing at the time to greet and help me. The arrangements were original and appeared to be well put together. I forget the name of the arrangement but it was one of the smaller choices she offered for $60. It was a little more than what I was used to paying but well worth it. She made the arrangement from just one glance at the photo and (after a few tweeks here and there) my arrangement was complete. I went to Trader Joe's and on a whim bought some very cheap flowers.  Being a typical I didn't think it through that you can't just give flowers still in their plastic wrap with the price tag and all that attached.
