Went there for dinner on a Monday night and the atmosphere was great! The food is some of the best around and you can't beat the price.  Our server "Franchy" was extremely attentive and friendly and made our experience that much better! More...

By far my new favorite restaurant in the area. We ended up coming here last-minute after our original plan to go to a nearby restaurant flopped (thanks to the worst attitude by a server I've ever encountered- see my other review for Reggianos) and we all were SO happy we made the switch. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, the service, vibe, and food were just out of this world. We all ordered off the prix-fixe menu which was such a great deal. The portions were so generous that we all took home food. Our server (and the supporting service staff) were all incredibly kind, attentive and really made our dinner so lovely. We will definitely return and will also recommend others to this place! More...

Went here with my husband. Food is fresh and made with high quality ingredients. Try the prix fix menu. Husband enjoyed the aso bucco he had. Homemade gnocchi was good, however the sauce was a little too salty and acidic for me personally. The waitress we had was Fantastic!!!Note that on busy nights, you may be seated at long bench type side by side tables.and the noise level can be loud, especially if your seat mates are not particularly considerate (as ours were quite loud)Overall, my husband really enjoyed this place. For me it was just ok. I gave 4 stars for the waitress, husband's opinion, and quality of the food. The flavor of the sauce was just not my favorite, may just be my taste preferences perhaps. Had great dinner last night. They always have a price fix- but are running a $29 3 course special- 7 days a weekThe selection and preparation and portion size were outstanding. The decor is very nice and clean - although seating can be tight. Our all tine favorite waiter  - Frenchie- came over Jeffrey's Restaurant- a few years ago ... and is a Pros pro - overall best restaurant in Milford, if not entire area More...

What could have been a negative review is going to be a great review. Let me explain...I ordered my dinner for takeout, picked it up, and went back to my hotel a mile or two down the road.I realized upon opening my dinner that a portion was missing. My first reaction was to be really annoyed. I eat out a lot, and I feel like something is ALWAYS wrong or missing. I have three small kids so I really didn't want to load them all up in the car again, to go get one item. I called to ask them for a refund on that one item, but instead, they offered to bring it to my hotel for me.I was quite happy with that! I was simply calling for a refund because I thought that was the only option. They really surprised me!Aside from that little hiccup, dinner was great! More...

I've been wanting to try this place for 3 years and finally made it. Worth the wait!  Decor is fabulous: modern, elegant and not too noisy despite being very busy on a Saturday night. Service was fine, and food was outstanding. We hothbjad the prix fixe dinner: stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, salad and stuffed shrimp. The shrimp was amazing: colorful (pink shrimp stuffed with lump crab and scallops)(light green spinach, potato and cauliflower mash), topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and a lobster reduction cream sauce. Complimentary chocolate dessert wine finished off a great experience. Thank you, Bin 100!! More...

Parking:  not bad, they are in a strip mall but with other booming business I had to look for a spot.Decor: the bar area is more modern than the dining room with a beautiful wood bar and lots of natural light from the massive windows.  The dining room needs noise cancellation squares as it gets quit noisy. They have these plastic strips (look like the roller mat under your office chair) which I found to be a little odd but who am I to judge someone's person taste.Staff: very friendly though the bartender needs to be a little more social with people sitting at the bar area.  People try new places because of reviews of the food, people go back to those places for great food AND great service.  My waitress was AMAZING (Sandra). I had to look at the receipt for her name because I could hear her in the dining area.Food: I had the gnocchi and the portions are huge. It was fresh and would have paid the same for half the portion (little heads up to owner)Date had Branzino and it was prepared perfectly.Wine list is huge with some great wines on it; from Caymus to Orin Swift Overall: If I was in the area I would go back but I'm not making a special trip to purposely go there. It's not that we are hard to please, it's that because we are in the industry, people do not usually provide the service or experience we give to our guests. This was not the case at bin 100 with our server frenchy. From the start to the finish, he was on top of it. Offering suggestions of wine and appetizers for our first visit. I know most servers are out there for the money and would try to deter you from a prix fixe menu because it costs less than ordering individually, but he actually talked about how great of a deal it was. Everything came out on time and was delicious. We have not had a good experience eating out in a long time until tonight. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks frenchy! More...

Excellent dinner combined with excellent service.   They have a great prix fixe menu so you can try several items.   Most importantly the service was impeccable.   I did not feel rushed and had time to savor and enjoy my meal.   I highly recommend this restaurant.   I was the only table not celebrating a birthday so apparently it's a good place to go if you have something to celebrate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Nothing short of fine dining. I am utterly upset that I didn't take photos of the food or drinks, that alone reminds me how well the atmosphere and dining was. The Seafood Ciopinno taste better than the satisfaction you get from successfully pronouncing Ciopinno. All fresh seafood that is well prepared and cooked with a great tomato broth, that invades the outer layer of any seafood it comes across. Most of it had no chance, along with the great wines they had and magnificent scotch & bourbon collection the second round didn't stand a chance either. As for dessert, the creme brûlée was outstanding. I don't need to say more but I will. It was as the heavenly custard was being hidden by the delicious hardened caramelized protective layer. That is all. More...

The food was phenomenal! However, the service was mediocre. Our server was nice, don’t get me wrong but it wasn’t the level of service I would expect at a high end restaurant. This might just be me being picky but I worked at a high end restaurant for several years and there’s just a certain way things should be done. Maybe our server was new and still learning. One thing I did not appreciate about our experience was the very rude hostess. She seemed annoyed that we showed up for our reservation early, even though we said we would happily wait at the bar. Although the food was great, I don’t think I’ll be returning just because I know I can get better service elsewhere. More...

Food at Bin 100 is good. We recommend the eggplant rollatini and Smokey pork egg rolls for starters... yummy Their version of pork tenderloin and cioppino are above par.. more recommendations .... their scallops and Mediterranean shrimp! We tried them too !Tables are arranged too close to the next table , thus quiet conversation is a challenge when the restaurant is buzzing with guests. Our table service was excellent- she was efficient and interactive and pleasant. We tried the bar prior to dinner, the bartender was affable enough. In town for a training. Found restaurant online with a quick search. Food pictures looked great so my co-workers and I decided to try it. Jeff was our server and we felt his service was exceptional. We had many questions and a good allergy request. He answered and accommodated us. The food looked better than the photos we saw online. The desserts topped off a great dinner. I’d recommend this to anyone in town looking for a great meal. Thanks! More...

An unassuming front facade opens up to a visual and culinary overload. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and good evening from the hostess. The clean lines of the newly renovated space are warm and inviting. The background noise of laughing and people just having an all around good time is infectious. The menu is a treasure of delectable selections that do not disappoint. Daily specials are sometimes offered with whatever is fresh, local, and in season. Pair your dinner with an amazing glass of wine, or a bottle from the extensive, yet well thought out wine list. Don't know too much about wine? Well the staff is well trained to help you and can pick out a great selection, no matter what your budget may be. Don't forget about the cocktails...Each equally balanced with small batch spirits, fresh juices, and fresh ingredients. Appetizers and entree's come out in a timely manner, hot and plated to look as good as they taste. If you have saved room for dessert, well they have what you are looking for. Don't forget to add a nice port or aperitif to compliment their offerings. An amazing experience from start to finish. If you haven't been to Bin 100, do yourself a favor and head on over. Food is amazing. We were here for a corporate function and the menu they offered was so vast. Everything was top notch. Eggplant rolatini was one of the best I've had, not too much breading and the perfect amount of cheese. Pork osso bucco was enough for two. The Nutella chocolate dessert was to die for. I just held a bridal shower for 23 guests at Bin 100 and have to say how delighted I was with the entire experience. Working with the manager Jeff to plan the menu and decor was a breeze.   He responded quickly to any questions I had and also offered helpful suggestions .The moment I arrived at the restaurant to prepare for the shower I was greeted by smiling , friendly staff.  They came out to my car to help me unload , helped me arrange my decorations , and even brought me a mimosa ! Any special request was handled with a smile , from a child's dinner , to a special menu request by a guest .  Sandra and Michele were my two servers and I have to say I've honestly never encountered such a friendly , professional staff .  Everyone that was there that day was just fantastic ! They were a pleasure to work with .The food was excellent and the dinner service was top notch   Service was done smoothly and not rushed  and the whole afternoon went without a hitch The staff helped us pack up our gifts and my decorations  and leftover desserts and Really made my day so relaxing and stress free.   It is a rare thing today to have an entire staff work together to make someone's day so special and I truly am thankful. I highly recommend Bin 100 for anyone looking to plan an event .  I am sure you will be as impressed as I was ! More...

This place was excellent! First time trying Bin 100 and they exceeded my expectations. Who would think this place in a strip mall could have some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. I've been craving it since I left. I'm addicted. This is my new favorite place. It looks small on the outside but it's so much bigger than what I thought it would be when I walked in. First, our server, Adele was wonderful, friendly, attentive and helpful! She knew it was our first time and was able to answer our questions about certain dishes. She knew the menu very well. She is  one of those servers you look forward to seeing again on your next visit. Ok now onto the food. It's a bit pricey but I don't mind when the food is good and the servings are large. The bread is warm, soft in the middle and crusty on the outside. Excellent.Beef short ribs - delicious!!! served with a mashed potato, cauliflower and broccoli combo.Delicious and would order again Veal something - OMG it was one of the best dinners I've ever had! Three fork tender veal cutlets over parpadelle pasta with a mushroom and parsley cream sauce. I could have drank a gallon of this stuff, lol. Well maybe not a gallon. This dish had so much flavor. I savored every bite. I will definitely be ordering this again!! Cappuccino - yup this was great too. I loved this place. My first visit to Bin 100 was almost ten years ago, when I first moved to CT.  I have been back numerous times, had various items on the menu and is yet to be disappointed.  The food, no matter the choice is amazing, the staff, is great as well .  I know my old company books the entire restaurant for the Christmas dinner. You have to try it. I took my daughter there in May for her birthday.  I stopped at the restaurant first with flowers and balloons.  The staff had everything at the table when we arrived, so it made for a very special dinner.  My grandson stole the show, but my daughter did not mind at all. Have dined at Bin100 many times over the years. It's our go to place for our birthdays and anniversary. We are never disappointed in the food we order. It's always delicious and plentiful.  This time however,  we were not pleased with our server. I went with the prefix, appetizer and meal great! My salad however,  was greens, a few cucumber slices and a carrot slice. What happened to the cherry tomatoes and sliced red  onion that is usually there? All the other salad plates had them.  Either the kitchen staff hadn't finished completing my salad,  or or server  grabbed it before it was complete. We had to ask if there were any specials. Our server never stopped by to inquire how our meals were.  If a server at a diner stops to inquire,  a server at a restaurant like yours should. At the end of the meal, it's a lovely gesture to offer a taste of a liquor.  We were given a tasty chocolate wine. Funny,  we had no options, we weren't even asked if we wanted it,   but the table next to us was asked and given options. We will come back, but hope we don't have this server again. If we do, I will ask that someone else waits on us. More...

Zucchini Blossoms with ricotta and smoked mozzarella, lightly floured and fried, Madeira sauce...Course #3... Oysters Rockefeller... Baked on the half shell with spinach, radicchio, goat cheese, touch of Pernod...Course #4... Smokey Pork Egg Rolls... Pulled Pork, Jicama tomato and avocado salad, coffee barbecue sauce...Course #5... Arugula Watermelon Salad... Baby Arugula, watermelon, feta cheese, citrus vinaigrette...Course #6... Branzino... Pan seared fresh Miditerranean sea bass filets, lemon sauce, served over mixed vegetable Israeli couscous...Course #7... Roadted Veal... Thinly sliced veal served with a wild mushroom cream sauce, pappardelle pasta, parsley emulsion, parmigiana...Course #8... Tres Leches Cake... OMG, with caramelized bananas sitting in a pool of coconut milk...And of course we finish with the signature Cappuccino...What an incredible dining experience tonight! The cuisine and service were superb! Courtney was the absolute Bet person to serve my dinner tonight. Friendly, personable and knows the menu inside out backwards and sideways. We had dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was amazing! The food, atmosphere, service (Ask for Nick) were all excellent. The $29 Prix Fixe dinner was a great deal, too, especially as the portions are more than generous. We started with arancini (fried rice balls with peas, split and topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella) and grilled calamari steak with garlic, parsley, olive oil, white wine. Both excellent choices and we're looking forward to trying others.Dinner was rolled chicken stuffed with prosciutto, fontina cheese and spinach, mushroom green peppercorn cognac sauce on a potato puree and pork ossobuco over risotto Milanese with a vegetable infused natural reduction. We took home more than half.On Nick's recommendation, we had a wine-poached pear for dessert. It was perfect and light after such a full dinner. Nick also clued us in on a very reasonably-priced house wine that we really enjoyed. The only minor issue we had was the sparse parking. There are very few spaces dedicated to the restaurant given the number of seats inside. Even on a Wednesday night, it was a challenge. Not enough of an inconvenience to cost a star, though.Bin 100 will be our new go-to restaurant for celebrations. More...

Absolutely Amazing. We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday and everything turned out perfect. My wife booked the reservation with Michelle who was so informative and helpful. She made personalized menus with the front displaying "Happy 75th Birthday Marie". It was such a nice touch to see that at every seating. Our waitress Courtney was the best. She was extremely attentive. Now that the personal accolades are out of the way...lets talk FOOD!  We had a party of 15 people and we ran the gamut on the menu. The appetizers from fried calamari to the potato croquettes and everything in between were delicious.  The main entrees were mouth watering. I had the Rigatoni with vodka, it was cooked to perfection - al dente... the basil was aromatic. My wife had the stuffed shrimp w/crabmeat over cauliflower mash, she could not stop ranting and raving over that dish. My uncle selected the semi-bone in chicken and he mentioned how flavorful and juicy it was (good size portion - he had a doggy bag). Dessert - what can we say except..delicious!!  Creme Brulee was cool and creamy, with a perfect shell. This place is perfect for a romantic dinner date or a family gathering. The decor is modern but very welcoming and warm. The staff is exceptional in every way. You will not leave this place disappointed. More...

I took my mom here for her birthday and the pre-fix special is a good option. We had more food then we needed for one meal but it also gave an opportunity to try a variety of things.I was pleased with their appetizers of squid and eggplant rollatini, but the rollatini was better. Our main dishes were very good - monkfish with shrimp and pork ossobucco. I would say the monkfish dish was light but with all the other food you won't be hungry. Have now eaten at Bin 100 twice.  Both times have been wonderful dining experiences that have only heightened the enjoyment of the company we were with.  First a word about the environment.  The restaurant is located on a busy corner of US 1 in Milford and appears to be not very atmospheric from the outside.  But the inside has been designed by someone who knew their stuff!  The room is divided by a low wall with thinly shaded openings so you don't feel closed in and yet don't feel intruded upon; the walls have cleverly decorative sound proofing panels so effective that you can hear what everyone at your table is saying, but not at the next table!, the lighting is good enough to read the menu but not overbearing is dimmed when everyone has been served, the chairs are very comfortable and there is a tablecloth on every table.  Perfect. The first time we ordered from the regular menu and I had the shrimp and monkfish, it was delicious.  We began with clams casino (I think six) and they were perfectly cooked, on a bed of greens with a delicious butter sauce.  The service was attentive without being invasive and we thought this just must have been a "slow" night (midweek) so they had time, were very impressed.  Ate there again last night.  Every table was full with diners.  Yet, we were seated immediately (had a reservation) and drink orders were brought over quickly.  Our server, Jeff was charming, very knowledgeable and helpful and handled every desire (even for something that was not on the menu and for someone with allergies).  This time we all tried the Prixe Fix (at $37 a person it included nearly every entree on their terrific menu-which is a mix of Italian and Spanish, a sizable appetizer of large clams casino, a salad, and dessert).  All four of us decided to order our dishes that way from the Prixe Fix offerings.  I think the portions might have been a bit smaller (4 generous size clams, think there were six last time but I could be wrong), but there was more than enough food and ALL of it was cooked to perfection.  Water was quietly refreshed without intrusion, dishes were cleared when everyone was done.  We all ordered the filet mignon medallions, one of us with a change of sauces due to allergy.  Everyone's steak was spectacular, cooked exactly as requested and was plated beautifully with the medallions arranged around a sculpted hill of the best mashed potatoes topped by a super large square home made potato chip...that was also delicious!  And then...dessert (all very tempting and special)...two of us had tiramisu, one had warm apple raisin crisp topped with ice cream, and one had, what he said was excellent, creme brulee. No one had a complaint. We felt very pampered by the after dinner liquor and red roses each lady was presented and our friends, who have dined all over the world and had never been here before, could not say enough about how terrific the experience was.  I know they will become "regulars".There is always a reason that, in an area where there are many choices to dine, a restaurant is full when others are not.  Bin 100 is a treasure and we will return again and again.  Hesitate not. This place is a gem.  I never heard of the place, until a few years ago.  The Prix Fixe dinner is the way to go.   The choices are diverse.  I find the food to be well prepared for the price point.  Certainly as good if not better than restaurants in Fairfield (which has become a restaurant haven at this point).  Salads are a bit on the small side, but are are nicely prepared.  The short ribs are perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful.  Veal Scaloppini was very tender.  Deserts are excellent.   Wine selection very good as you can imagine by its name.  Their lower end bottles are good.  The tables are a bit closely spaced, but its not too bright inside so it can be somewhat intimate.  Service is very attentive.  Very attentive.  I would give it 4.25 stars.  We go out in Fairfield - which has become overpriced and mediocre.   Bin 100 is a go to place for a semi-special meal.  It's probably not the place for a "romantic" dinner as the venue itself doesn't lend itself to that atmosphere (it's nice but some what dated.).  highly recommend it! The place was sensational. From the moment we walked in everyone was attentive, patient, and willing to please. It was cold, snowing, and crowded! No one looked overwhelmed. Lots of seafood options but also had a lot of chicken and steak options as well. The portions didn't seem like a lot...until I couldn't finish them! The four course price fixe menu was more than enough. The food was divine. The drunks were just right. To top it all off, out server was simply amazing! Made recommendations. Was personable and attentive. Highly recommend this place. Be sure to make reservations. Great place for a romantic dinner or a couples night out. Extensive wine menu as well. Again just be sure to make reservations this place fills up fast. More...

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed a good meal. The $37 4 course meal offers plenty of choices and is a fair price considering portion sizes (ample). The Pana Cotto was tasty but a bit mushy and wet, the rest of my meal was great. Service was very attentive and the servers kept our water glasses full. Dessert wasn't on par though with bland tiramisu. Lacking the sharp hint of liqueur and espresso. If you order soda, they charge by the glass (in a world of free refills) this drove up or bill to $200 for 4 people plus tax and tip More...

I just took my parents here for restaurant week, and I have to say, this is the best place I've eaten at in CT. By far. The service we had from Courtney was amazing - she was so attentive and her recommendations were spot on. My parents and I practically licked our plates clean (kidding, we used the amazing complimentary bread!). I got the veal with polenta as an entree and it was to die for. The sangria made with apple cinnamon whiskey blew my mind, and the apple crisp dessert tasted more apple-y than an actual apple. Will be coming back very soon! More...

First time eating at Bin 100, it was a very good meal and the service was top notch. I read some reviews and seen some pictures of poor bar service but that was not in any way my experience. I did set at a table versus the bar and my server Paolo was very attentive in all respects. I started off with the Oyster Rockefeller which was very good and highly recommended. I had the Gorgonzola Chicken for my meal, if you like chicken and mushrooms you will love this dish. I am a huge Gorgonzola fan and the only criticism I would have is that given the name of the dish the amount of Gorgonzola was lacking. Overall nice atmosphere, excellent service, and a very good meal. More...

One of the best restaurants in Milford. You can not go wrong with their price fixed menu. They give you a full 4 course menu. They do not reduce the size of the portions just because it is priced fixed. I have taken my parents there for special occasions and it has now become their favorite restaurant to go to in Milford. the staff is very attentive but not overly. Recommend making reservations. Went today for a birthday party, which was a party of 16 total. We all sat comfortably and were accommodated easily. The waiter asked us right away if we wanted to do split checks, which we did, and he took notes accordingly. We all decided to do the prefix meal because we figured that would be easiest. You get to have several courses so it is nice try sample a few things. All the food came out at the same time, except for one plate during the main course, which did come out about 10 minutes late. The waiter was attentive and did explain it was a mixup in the kitchen. All of the food was very delicious and is worth giving a try. This place is very tiny and will fill up quickly. This restaurant is one of my favorites but I was a little disappointed tonight. The Prix Fixe menu is always a good value, however tonight I noticed they eliminated the dessert course from the menu. Also, one of the things that had always separated this restaurant from others, was the chocolate wine at the end. I don't know if our waitress forgot to serve it tonight or this nice touch was taken away. I won't be back anytime soon. More...

Wow. That is all I can say. Easily grabs a spot in one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I stopped by with a friend after work as their restaurant week promotion was too good to pass on (although I hear they offer a regular pre fixe meal that is well worth it as well!). $27 for 1 app, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. We came around 5:45pm on a Wednesday and was lucky enough to grab a table (by the time it hit 6:30pm it was packed!). The first few minutes we're a little awkward as we were tucked between two tables and noise level was very minimal, which made it easy to hear other people's conversations. I also noticed that the crowd was geared more towards older patrons. However it progressively got louder as dinner time rolled around, making it more comfortable and ideal for me to talk to my friend. I ordered the squash blossom, lobster pasta, and German chocolate cake, while my friend ordered the zucchini frittata, pasta, and mixed berry cobbler. We split the appetizers and I've got to say, they make vegetables taste amazing. I'm not even a fan of squash or zucchini, but after this, I might change my mind. Deep fried batter, creamy sauce, and a larger than usual portion. Same thing with my pasta. Anytime I order anything "lobster" I ALWAYS expect to get a skimpy serving. That just naturally comes with the territory of ordering seafood plates. This pasta? Actual chunks of lobster, and there was actually a good amount too!! I was shocked to say the least. Pasta was delicious (and again large portion) and the chocolate cake took me into a diabetic coma of goodness.Another thing to note was service. Absolutely impeccable!! Not only did the food come out blazing fast, the waiters were on point. They constantly make sure you are enjoying the experience. Water refills, friendly smiles, overall just an amicable time. If you have any doubts, don't. Just go. Bin 100 is located in a strip of other restaurants/stores with plenty of parking, an offers a menu of food that can do no wrong. I can't wait to return and try everything else as they all sounded equally delicious. More...

We went in for dinner on Father's Day, with a reservation, but when we got there all the waiters were whizzing past us and there was no one to show us to our table for almost 10-15 mins. Once we were seated it took our waitress a while to show up. Something she profusely apologized for! The food was good - we did the prix fixe and ordered the pane cotto (huge portions and a little over salted) and the carrot ginger soup (husband loved it) for appetizers. I felt like my appetizer could have been my whole meal! I got the Gorgonzola chicken as my entree which was good, the chicken was a touch dry, but yummy. Husband likes his shrimp pasta as well. Service very good; ambiance nice and very extensive and reasonable wine list. Here's why 4 vs 5 stars: location/ambiance. This place is great! Came here Saturday night for my Dad's birthday dinner and we really enjoyed our experience. Our server (Jeff or Josh?...I don't know, we had a lot of wine lol), was really nice and chill. They had a $36 prix fixe option with 4 courses which was a great deal. We all loved the bread, we probably had like 3 baskets of it dipped in olive oil. I also really liked the house salad. My appetizer was the mozzarella with eggplant which was good, and my entree was the monk fish which was very good. I would have preferred the fish to not be seared, but it tasted great and came with shrimp and some delicious mashed potatoes and spinach, I ate almost the entire thing. I was really excited to try the Nutella cake, but it was honestly pretty dry and tasted nothing like Nutella, so that was disappointing. Everyone I was with seemed to enjoy their meals and experience, so I think we will probably be back! More...

My boyfriend and I always come to Bin100 when we plan on having a fancy date night, and we always return because it is so delicious! We always do the pre-fix (I'm not sure how to spell it) and For my entree I always get the chicken valdostana! If you've never had this dish it is a must try! You get basically two of the same entrees on the same plate: a chicken breast over spinach with delicious cheese and sauce (and prosciutto if I'm not mistaken). I always finish one half in the restaurant and bring home the other half for when I get hungry at home. Such a great deal! For the appetizers, I've had the flatbread pizza (AMAZING), the pork eggrolls (not my favorite because I'm not a huge fan of pork, but still amazing), the fried calamari (so delicious, and it comes with the best spicy sauce to dip it in), and the eggplant rollatini (this is by far my favorite appetizer that I've gotten. Always cooked to perfection and so delicious). My boyfriend and I aren't the biggest fans of house salads so we usually pass on that, and then we get desserts! Last time I ordered the tres leches cake (I believe that's what it was called) and it was SO delicious and so dense and milky. OMG delicious is an understatement! Overall an incredible restaurant! It's an excellent deal and the portions were very generous. I had the baked oysters, seafood risotto, and Nutella cake for dessert. The seafood risotto was my favorite of the three, lots of different types of seafoods and it was cooked well. And I'm a sucker for chocolate and Nutella - the dessert did not disappoint. all for 29 dollars for 3 courses! My dad got the pork osso bucco and I tried a bit and it was so tender and flavorful. I came here tonight for my boyfriends birthday dinner and I was blown away! I was a little hesitant because I read so many reviews and I wasn't sure how the food would be but I left full and pleased! We had the grilled octopus with arugula, chick peas, and tomatoes for an appetizer and the octopus was succulent and honestly one of the best I have ever had. It was so good I was sad when I finished it. For an entree we both had the Munk fish with  pan seared shrimp in a lobster reduction, sauteed spinach with a potato puree. THIS WAS HEAVENLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TRY IT! Munk fish is known to be the "poor mans lobster" and man it really does taste like lobster. It was cooked perfectly. The lobster reduction adds a nice spin to it as I like to dip my fish in it. I also had a glass of Albarino and it was reasonably priced. Next I had an espresso martini with my tirimasu dessert and the martini was not the best espresso martini i have ever had but close enough. Our server was very friendly. The service was a little slow and they seemed to be a little busy but we had no complaints once the food came. Honestly, the food was so good that we had smiles on our faces the entire time. Bin100 proved be a memorable experience and certainly worth another visit. My fiance and I went for dinner with three friends last night. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated almost immediately. Being a Saturday night, it was necessary to make a reservation. As we walked to our table, each table we passed was occupied. After being seated, we were handed menus and recognized that it was restaurant week, and therefore, a prix fixed menu option. Having been here once before (not on restaurant week), we were aware that this option would be offered. There were quite a few options on this menu and offered an appetizer, main dish and dessert for $27.99. All five agreed that this was a reasonable deal and chose to go with the prix fix menu. The food was absolutely delicious, but I will address that in a moment.  The waitstaff deserves an honorable mention. Our waiter greeted us a few minutes after we sat down. While he did introduce himself, I, unfortunately, I do not remember his name. I think that is a compliment to him, however. He was excellent from start to finish. Outside of a few pleasantries, he was not overly conversational which was preferred. He was patient when we could not decide which bottle of wine to choose and visited our table at the right times throughout the dinner. Further, our waters were filled and our food was brought at the right times. I think the best compliment that I could give the wait staff at this restaurant is that I did not think about them once. It just happened as it was supposed to. Okay. Now I will address the dinner. We began by ordering a bottle of red wine which was $35. While there were many options, we chose that one because it was the least expensive option. We then ordered dinner. I can only speak to the taste of my food, but the food others ordered looked well plated, and there was plenty of it. I ordered the eggplant rollatini as my appetizer which came with two decent sized eggplant rollatini's. It was cooked well and smothered in sauce. I would have to say it was one of the best eggplant rollatini's I have had. As my main course, I ordered the rolled, stuff chicken breast. The dish came with two stuffed chicken breast on top of a bed of mashed potatoes surrounded by brown gravy. Again, it was delicious. The only thing I left on the plate was the gravy. I am glad the the gravy surrounded everything because it was a bit salty, but I used it sparingly to dip the chicken and mashed potatoes. I also tried my friend's gnocchi. The sauce on the gnocchi was thick and tasty. The gnocchi themselves were well cooked and plump. If you want good gniocchi, you may want to give this a try.As the meal ended, everyone seemed satisfied. Desserts were next. Not really wanting dessert, I ordered strawberry ice cream. Again, I received more than I expected. The waiter put two scoops in front of me as desserts were being passed out. I offered those at the table some since I did not expect to eat the whole thing. Of course I did though. It had half strawberries in it! I did get to try the cannoli and and the chocolate cake both of which were huge and both of which were very good. The only reason I considered giving Bin100 less than 5 stars is because it was a bit noisy in the restaurant. After thinking about it, though, I did not really mind it. It did not take away from a good experience. After getting our bill (pricey, but as expected), we left quite pleased. Overall, Bin100 was one of the better restaurant experiences I have had in a while. More...

We had such a lovely anniversary dinner tonight at Bin.  This restaurant knows what they are doing.  They slightly reinvent themselves a little bit each time I go.  Their prix fixed menu is so extensive and incredibly affordable for the quality and presentation of the food offered, I cannot imagine anyone not being satisfied.  Even my big eater husband was reluctant but was overwhelmed by his delicious osso bucco portion from the prix fix menu and quality.  Loved my roasted veal dish with creamy mushroom sauce over pappardelle.  So many great entrees; tough decision.  Delicious mussels and fresh mozzarella/tomato/breaded eggplant apps.  And we were too full, but got dessert to go. Most incredible Creme brûlée prepared in a foil container special just for those who want it to-go! I told my server I was willing to wash and bring the ramekin back! But not necessary because they think of everything.  One thing I always notice when I come here--and it's been awhile--is the service.  Service is always top-notch but not annoying.  We had a pleasant knowledgeable seasoned server with short dark hair and beautiful nails! (forget her name) who was perfect, and even the young busser was professional and friendly.  Runner too.  Everything was timed perfectly and in the proper order with nothing delivered "on top" of the prior course which is such a pet peeve of mine.  We arrived early on a Thursday night around 5:45 with just one or two other tables. For desert I ordered the French milk caramelized banana which melted in our mouths. My partner ordered the salmon over zucchini spaghetti . We were both delighted in our selections.A delight for sure. More...

This time we sat at the bar.  Great vibe! Once we sat in the dining room, things only got better.  We had the surfery drink, it was so good I had 2! We had eggplant rollatini and the octopus to start.  Then we did lamb rack and ribeye both were perfect.  Service as always was good as we remember it.  We had the old Italian man Palio .  He told us he has been there since day 1.  This place keeps getting better and better each time we go.  Looking forward to Valentines weekend when we return for my wife. I came here once for a regular dinner with my boyfriend and another couple and was pleasantly surprised. The rice balls were a delicious appetizer to start the night and the meal, eggplant parm with a side of gnocchi, was perfect! My boyfriend got the filet mignon medallions with mashed potatoes which was also amazing! We also came here this past New Years Eve and they had a wide variety of choices (almost a full menu) for the night and service was great. I'll definitely be coming back! More...

My wife and I have been wanting to go here for quite some time. We had an early reservation because we called at last minute By 6:30 this placed was full, with people waiting in the bar area which was also filled. We did the prix fixe dinner. I had the rigatoni vodka which was excellent and my wife had the monkfish which was also very good. One weird thing, they seated us a table, gave us menus, then five minutes latter moved us to  another table. They said they had a large party and needed the table. Well after we left, only 4 people sat at the table. Over all an excellent meal. Desserts and appetizers were very good. Reservations are a must if you want to dine between 6 and 7:30. We will definitely come back. More...

Their prix fixe menu is awesome. I came in with a friend last Sunday and enjoyed the pasta e fagioli  to start, followed by a simple house salad and an entree of penne vodka, which was delicious. For dessert, I selected my all-time favorite, creme brûlée. The service was excellent and all courses were ready and delivered after the last course was complete. Man oh man, let me tell you about this place. Came here for a romantic dinner. Ordered drinks and two meals from the prix fixe menu. The portions were HUGE. After eating the first two courses, I could barely eat the third course. Eating the fourth course (dessert) was a joke at that point.  Awesome amount of food. Both our appetizers were delicious (spring rolls and fried calamari.). The service was great, we were given complimentary shots and coffee after dinner.   All in all, a wonderful experience. Came here on our way home from vacation and I am glade we stopped in.  We sat at the bar and ordered from the Prix Fixe Menu - 4 course $29per person "What a deal." Our meal was worth every penny.  The staff could not be any nicer and the bartender, she was great.  First Course: Eggplant Rollatini was delicious with a great tasting plum tomato sauce. Second Course: was the salad.  Third Course: Penne Bolognese with veal Yum! Yum! And Fourth Course: Tiramisu that was out of this world.  We walked out of Bin 100 happy that we got our monies worth $29 besides we had a delicious meal and we were thinking of a reason to make another trip back to Milford, CT from Westchester just to eat at Bin 100 again. My husband and I had a great dinner last night at Bin 100.  The food and service were fantastic. I was slightly annoyed that we had an 8:00 reservation and were not seated until after 8:15, but that's my only complaint.  Our waitress, Nicole, was one of the friendliest and most attentive servers I have ever had at a restaurant.  My husband and I both ordered off the price fixed menu, which was a great value.  The appetizers (fried calamari and eggplant rolatini) were delicious as were our meals: (pork ossobuca and pork tenderloin).  We were so full from the generous portions that we took home our tiramisu to enjoy tonight. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant I've been to in Connecticut. It's my boyfriend and I favorite place for date night. They're fried calamari is amazing as well as the sauce that comes with it. I usually always get the filet mignon that is so delicious and tender, very filling as well. As for the desserts we usually get the tres leches which is just melt in your mouth amazing. A little on the pricy side but it is well worth the money if you want really good food. My food was great, had the oricchette. Well seasoned, a great meal. Also had the tuna tartar, which isn't the best ever but is a solid dish that's worth getting. We have been in search of our new "go-to" restaurant in Milford and I think we have found it.  Bin 100 is an excellent place to go out and have a great meal in an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. To begin, the food is universally delicious.  My wife and I have different tastes, but frequently share and I have yet to order something, or taste something of her's, that I would not order again. The only downside I can mention is that this place is popular and you need to make a reservation if you want to get a table during peak eating times.  We went last Friday at 6:30 PM and the wait was an hour.  Fortunately, we had some errands to run so we could come back, but even then we had to sit at the bar as it was the only place where we could be accommodated.  Believe me, we were glad to get in at all, but I definitely recommend a reservation.Where other places in Milford cater to the party crowd that seem to want to listen to loud music, drink enough to get boisterous and food is a secondary offering to their  watered down drinks, it is nice to find a cool place to have a great meal and a great night out at a reasonable price. I went here for a family dinner with a party of nine people, and it was probably the best meal I've had in the area in a long, long time.  I went with the prixe fix menu for $32: appetizer, dinner salad, entree and dessert.  I had an excellent eggplant rollatini for my app, which was larger than expected, and quite good.  Some of the other apps on the table included fried calamari, grilled calamari steak, and stuffed mushrooms.  Everyone was sufficiently happy. After the salads, I had an outstanding veal scallopine, but it was so difficult making my selection considering the number of third course options on the prixe fix menu.  Other great dishes at the table included roasted veal, chicken valdostana and tilapia.  I asked my family about the other options I considered, and everyone seemed to answer with positive reviews.  This gives me a lot of incentive to try this place out again some time and explore other options.I had churros for the fourth course, which were good (not great -- but that didn't deter me from the experience) while others enjoyed the warm apple crisp. Everyone at the table was thoroughly satisfied.  This is significant because my uncle and cousin have decades of restaurant experience between them, and are fond of fine dining.  I'm glad someone here mentioned Paolo!  He was an outsanding server and catered to us non stop.  I'll be sure to leave him a "tip!"  Overall, this is as good as it gets in my opinion.  I love the atmosphere, the food, the staff are nice and courteous, and I will definitely be coming here again in the near future. You wouldn't know it by the shopping plaza it resides in, but this place is first class all the way.  The food is fantastic, the service is quick and courteous - did I mention the food was fantastic?    My wife and I were surprised by how much we got by ordering from their "$29.95" menu, which includes an appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert - you'd also think that the selection would be poor when ordering from a 'reduced' price list of items, but there were a lot of great choices to be had.  My only complaint was that the Chicken Gorgonzola seemed a bit on the pedestrian side - I normally don't go nuts over something I probably could have made myself at home. Should have gone with the scallops....That aside, the German chocolate cake we both had for dessert was out of this world - it had layers of coconut and ganache, I'd liken it to eating a big extravagant Mounds bar. With three kids (all less than four years old) and no immediate family nearby, my wife and I don't get to dine out much. When we do, we know we can rely on Bin 100 for great food and a great dining experience. The time we get seated tends to be later than our reservation by about 20 minutes consistently, but other than that we have no complaints. Top-notch restaurants in this general area (Stratford/Milford) are pretty hard to come by and Bin 100 is a welcome exception to that. The surrounding location would not lead you to think this was a place for fine dining, but as others have noted here, don't let that deter you. It is well worth it. More...

We went to Bin 100 tonight for the first time based on reviews here.  The positive reviews understated how wonderful this place is-I'd give it 7 stars if I could. We arrived at 6 and were seated right away-there were only 2 or 3 other diners there.  The decor was modern but warm-I liked the textiles and colors. We looked over the menu-I was tempted by the carrot ginger soup and the sausage stuffed pork loin but we decided to try the Prix Fixe menu for our first time.  I choose smoked pork eggrolls which smelled wonderful and tasted better.  They were served with a salad of jicama, spinach, tomato and avocado-a nice compliment to the crispy egg rolls.  M chose clams casino which were tasty and sweet. That was followed by a salad of field greens with balsamic vinaigrette-standard but good. For my entree I choose shrimp and scallops-they arrived with a swirly pile of potato puree (mashed potatoes) piped onto a serving of sauteed fresh spinach and topped by two shrimp.  The lobster reduction was zig zaged across the plate with 3 large scallops arranged around the plate. I thought "3"? Then I tasted one.  It was sweet, velvety and meltingly tender.  I have never eaten scallops that weren't at least a little chewy- these were perfect, I cut them with my fork and reluctantly shared a slice with M.He choose the veal scallopine which turned out to be two piles of potato puree topped with egg battered veal and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.  The taste I had was tender veal, fresh mushrooms and delicious. For dessert I choose creme brulee-a favorite, while M had churros-both very good. Our check came to $80. which included my glass of Reisling and M's beer.   I have spent more at Outback and gotten less.I told our waiter how wonderful our meals were and how pleased we were.  When he brought the check he also gave us each a chocolate after dinner liqueur-truly a way to my heart. We had a wonderful all around experience-I'm looking forward to dining there again soon. I have been coming here for dinner for the past 8 weeks for a wine tasting dinner.  My first thought was that I would have to suffer through mediocre food week after week, but I was and am pleasantly surprised by the consistency and quality of food.  Now its good - not phenomenal - but it could be a lot worse given the size of the menu, and the fact that its in a strip mall in Milford.  Seriously last night I had the short rib entree for the second time and the meat quality itself (not so much the sauce or side dishes) was great.  Other standouts, Calamari & Clams appetizer in cooking liquid, herbs, wine etc. , eggplant rollatini, clams casino, salads are good as well.  My only complaint is the music soundtrack they play is really terrible. The escarole and white bean appetizer was great, really good flavor and a good size portion, definately could have been split between two people. I had the salmon entree, which was a little over cooked (I asked for med rare and it came med well) but the flavor great. It was served over mashed potatoes and spinach. This continues to be one of the best restaurants in Milford.  Food is very good, atmosphere is great, nice bar, generous portions, generous drinks.  Creative menu with a wide selection of food styles.  The restaurant is listed here as Spanish/Basque - but many of the dishes lean towards Italian.  The $32 Prix Fixe menu is a good value.I think every time I have been there I have had the Chicken Valdostana - boneless breasts over spinach with a nice tangy sauce.  Last night was no exception - it is excellent.  Other dishes at table were the Chicken with Gorgonzola, and Veal Scaloppini.  All were excellent.Service was pretty bad last night - very slow.  (We even had to ask for a cork screw to open our bottle of wine.)  It was busy, and we had a good time, so we didn't let it get to us.  But it was slow enough that we noticed and talked about it.Still a highly recommended place for a great meal and a good time.UPDATE:  June 22, 2012Still our favorite place in Milford.  A few updates.  -The Prix Fixe menus is back - $29.  Great deal!  App, Salad, Entree, dessert.  Very generous, and highly recommended-Tried a dish I had not ordered before - the Filet Mignon tips in a cognac sauce.  Wow.  This is now my favorite dish.  Also raves at our table for the Veal Scallopine.-Service - the wait staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable.  However - once again, the service was pretty slow.  I am not looking to rush through dinner, and I actually like the relaxed pace when enjoying a night out with friends/family once food is ordered.  But the time between sitting and getting our drinks and ordering meals seems to take the longest. This is the place that we take our of town guests and other friends every time - the food and atmosphere never disappoint. Pasta Bolognese was fabulous, scallops, filet and chicken dish w/ proscuitto, fontina and spinach were all so good. Nice wine list. The staff is very professional. I would think this place would be packed, but it was not. We were there on a Thursday night.  Milford, CT is lucky to have a restaurant like this!  Check it out. Would definitely return if in the area. More...

We got the prix fixe meal and the food was execellent!  I'm not giving the restaurant 5 stars because the service was lacking.  I don't know if they were understaffed that day, but the service was extremely slow. More...

My girlfriends and I were enjoying a "Girls Getaway" and found a nice hotel off 95 in Milford, which was just 10 minutes down the road from New Haven, where everyone was at school and work. After settling in the hotel, we were out in search of dinner, and given it was 8:45 and in a strange town, our options were slipping away quickly. Thanks to Yelp Mobile, (the best mobile app ever) we were directed quickly to Bin 100, which was conveniently 8 minutes away, and open until 10 pm. We zipped right over.We waited to be seated, which was probably the only down side of the night. But, it was late, and we are all in the service industry, and it seemed like they just sent the host home for the night. No biggie. We were seated, and greeted, and once looking through the menu, we all quickly settled on items from the pre-fixe menu. For $29, you were given an amuse-bouche, starter, entree and dessert. The amuse-bouche was a deliciously fresh tuna tartar in cucumber carpaccio. There must have been at least 8-10 choices for both the starter and entree selections, and the decisions were tough to make. Between the three of us, some of the highlights of the night included:White Bean and Kale soup - for my vegetarian friend, she was thrilled that this soup was NOT made with chicken stock.Chorizo Stuffed Mushrooms - perfect button mushrooms, stuffed but still tender and flavorful.Veal with Pesto Pappardelle - homemade pasta cooked al dente with tender vealFilet Mignon - the glazed carrots and root vegetable puree was AWESOME and my med-rare filet came out a little more on the rare side, which for me is totally fine, always better a little under-done than over done.Bread Pudding with Caramel Rum Sauce - So hot that I was able to make it last more than 5 minutes : ) For three hungry girls, we left totally happy, especially at $50 each, including the tip. Bin 100 is a GREAT spot for a date, a birthday dinner, or a girl night out, whether you are just passing through the area, or you find yourself wanting to go outside of New Haven. More...

Didn't read Vacca P's review, but wound up there last night and ordered the Fixe Prix Pasta Bolognese.I agree wholeheartedly...it was SENSATIONAL. Not the usual heavy deep red PLOP of thick of ground meat you usually get , but a delicate, BALANCED sauce that was hearty (we were FULL...) but somehow light. Lighter in color, lighter in intent than any Bolognese I've had and for me.. The Bolognese MAKES an Italian restaurant, if only for one reason, which is if you're are going to put it on your menu, it really has to be extraordinary since there are SO many examples, its a standard, like marinara or Caprese. I complimented the owner on the way out, because it was far and away the best bolognese I've had, here stateside, California to New York or in Europe, even in Tuscany or,...gee, Bologna. For the person who said the starter, the Amuse Bouche, was a throwaway, i must remark, I dunno what YOU had, (assuming it changes from chef whim to chef whim) my throwaway was sensational. It was a single stuffed grape leaf, but unlike typical Greek diner stuffed grape leaves, floating in Grade D Olive and Motor oil, this was served dry. It was rice, yes, but wrapped in pancetta, and it SANG!!! mi, mi, mi, mi. It set up the mushroom caps stuffed with sweet sage sausage, maybe a touch over cooked, but yummy. The prix Fixe is a HUGE buy. if you find yourself in the neighborhood at dinner time and haven't eaten in a while, it'll do the job, deliciously! You'll be full and HAPPY! More...

Impressive.  Decor - modern, tasteful.  Staff - knowledgeable and friendly. Food - Roasted lamb shank with bean cassoulet was very tender and juicy.  Roasted pork tenderloin over parsnip purée was moist, well seasoned and presented nicely.  Only sour note was the tres leches cake -  dry, overly sweet.  Planning more visits. Best prix fixe in the area.  You do not walk away hungry.First course is a teaser.Out of everything on that menu, you MUST try the Pasta Bolognese.  It is one the best pasta dishes I have ever had...sorry grandma!  But, even my grandmother would agree.  I'm a big guy and I even have a hard time finishing this bowl of pasta.  The logical thing to do would be to take it home, but it is sooo damn good that it's worth every gut busting bite.  Do not wear a belt.  If you do choose to have dessert, the Tres Leches is excellent.  The churros are also delicious, but to me that sugar is like sand and gets everywhere.Service, I've never had a problem with anyone there.  I always had profession servers, men/women, all have been extremely nice to myself and guests.Wine list is very good and priced right.  Some of the real obscure stuff is priced very good.  If you know your wines, then you can find yourself a bargain.I'm going to say  "good for kids" just because my 7y/o likes the food there, but if you have kids, leave them with the sitter for the first night out and judge for yourself if the young ones can handle themselves there.Place is beautiful and clean.  Ample parking.  Nice bar area.   IMHO best place outside of New Haven. This is sort of a hole in the wall - you might miss it, being that it's in a small shopping center awkwardly placed on the post road. We went here upon the suggestion of a friend and fell in love with the place. The prix five menu is perfect - although it seems it went up in price since the last time we have been there. The atmosphere is great - while we were eating there was a private party of about 50 on the other side but you could barely hear them. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was delightful. The prix five gives you a good sample of different foods which is a good cleanse to the palate. You must eat here!!! More...

There isn'tanother restaurant in the State of CT that will pay as much attention to you as Bin 100.  A very warm and attentive staff make this restaurant worthy of spending money and time in... and then there is the food...I LOVE the food at B100.  The entree's make it all work - while some of the app's are just good, many are excellent and unparralled elsewhere.  My favorite app is the musselsl with coconut sauce.. devine.  A steak dish - with grilled potatoes is also excellent... just like all the others.I've spent a lot of time in this place and always enjoyed the experience.  Perhaps I love the fact that it's got great drinks, fantastic food, and is close to my house, but my oh my... it's hard to find all of these things in one restaurant... and Bin100 has done it.  Can't wait to go back. I've been to Bin 100 twice now. Once for a graduation party and the second time for a quick drink and tapas.  Tapas were served at the party in the bar area, (which had been reserved for the event), all of which were very good.  We had cheese croquettes w/a dipping sauce that was delish, baba ghanoush platter (yum!), meatballs, chorizo sliders, stuffed mushrooms, fresh fruit skewers and a cheese platter. All fresh and all top notch.  Having sampled several tapas items, I decided to bring a friend back here for a quick drink and light meal. We sat in the bar and ordered the empanadas and codfish croquettes. Here's where the 3 stars comes into play. While all tapas at the party were fantastic, each of these were just 'eh.  The empanadas were served with a salsa on the side and definitely needed it for the extra flavor and the codfish croquettes were a bit dry without their accompanying sauce.    Another friend of mine has been here for a 10 yr anniversary dinner with his wife and testified that everything throughout their meal was to die for.  I will absolutely be back for dinner and or drinks/tapas. The decor is very trendy and relaxing.  They offer a 4-course prix fixe menu during the week for just under $26 and there are many selections to choose from, all of which look delicious.AMENDED-I've been back here twice now for dinner, both times off of the pri fixe menu and that can't be beat.  Great selection, consistently delicious, very friendly staff and when I asked our waiter for a bottle of wine, which they did not have, he was quick to offer a replacement for a comparable price.  I can't say enough great things about this place. Good place. Though I have to say I have been there three times before and it was just ok for me. I went there 2 weeks ago and I am a big fan now. The other times I thought the food was good but nothing close to the hype I heard about. I believe they have a new chef now and I am a big fan. Also, Patrick, our waiter, is very knowledgeable and very attentive to details. More...

I've been to Bin 100 about 4 or 5 times, and I've had a good experience every time. I'd say it usually hovers somewhere between 4 and 4.5 stars. Most of the food has been excellent. Yes, I've had a couple things that weren't amazing, but even those were still pretty good.Service has always been fantastic. It's not flawless, but it's still a restaurant I always look forward going to. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth it. More...

We have dined at Bin 100 twice for dinner and once at a late-ish lunch. The food and service have been consistently great. Wonderful crisp calamari appetizer, not hidden in a thick blanket for breadcrumbs; lovely mezze with exquisitely smokey baba ganouj and hummus, the sweetest trout I have had in years, a whole barramundi so delicious we picked little bits off the bones, and a nice wine list. The sommelier was our waiter the last occasion we dined at Bin 100; he was knowledgeable and helpful. This is our favorite restaurant in Milford, by far. More...

I went here this past weekend (2/20) with my girlfriend after seeing "Shutter Island".  The food is really good, and our waiter (Chris K) was very good.  I had the spicy shrimp appetizer and the scallop dinner.  Both were cooked perfectly and had nice flavor.   Bin 100 has a decent selection of beers, but nothing extraordinary.  They do have one out of the ordinary beer, Anchor Brewing's Liberty Ale out of San Francisco, which was pretty tasty.  All in all, this is a nice place to go if you're looking for something a little different. Love this place!  It was pretty quiet on a Friday night though.  Maybe because the prices are a little high.  However you can opt for Appetizers or items from the tapas menu which are $5 each.  I order the salmon which was delicious!  It was a perfect portion and served on top of spinach and mashed potatoes. Everything was great.  I also had stuffed mushrooms from the tapas menu which were very good.  Try the red sangria, but just one...glasses are huge they serve them in!!  Will be returning to this place soon! Probably the best restaurant in Milford.I have been going to this place since soon after it opened and I have never been disappointed.  The service is always excellent with knowledgeable wait staff and fast service.  Despite the fast service, you can tell the food is always prepared fresh. They always have delicious specials that are definitely worth checking out (not that the normal menu isn't great!), and special events all the time (make sure to sign up for their newsletter).Overall, excellent food, good prices, and a great staff make this a place to return to time and time again. I really hope this place thrives, because I have a new favorite restaurant in CT.  My in-laws took me here because they know I'm a foodie, and I was really blown away by the quality of this place.  More people need to know about it, because it's the type of place that the Milford/Stratford area was really missing for a while. They have a fairly large wine cellar and a a knowledgeable sommelier on staff. For dinner, my wife had the beef duo, the inlaws had the pork loin, and I had the roasted duck with wine reduction.  The roast duck was wonderfully prepared to my liking - nice and medium rare.  Two cuts were served - medallions and the thigh.  The thigh was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with big chunks of applewood-smoked bacon in it.  Duck is something that is so average when not handled by someone that knows how to prepare it and just spectacularly good when prepared right.  This was spectacularly good. The pork loin looked perfectly prepared, and I snuck a few bites of the Beef medallions.  They were really great, and my wife cleaned the plate.Dessert was even better.  Go for the Tres Leches - it was by far the best, and just killer.  The churros are awesome too.The chef is clearly classically trained - just a really fantastic meal.Thank you, Bin 100 for a wonderful meal! I am a foodie, and ran some very good, well known places.  This is a good place to go.  I went on a very busy last minute Saturday night and they got us in.  The bar and decor are very cool and not overstated.  Great banquette seating in the dining room.  Very good drinks and bar.  The food was very, very good all around.  Desert also.  Our service this night was slow, admitted the waiter, but that is something that can happen anywhere.  We will be back again.  Also, I want to plug Maurice, and excellent waiter that I have worked with in the past and was surprised to see after a long time!  A must go in the Milford/Stratford area for a experience rivaling some of the very good New Haven/Stamford/Greenwich competitors, without the hassle. ok so I just spent my other $20 certificate and to make sure it wasn't a fluke last time- it was still just as good as last time! The waiter- Maurice- was awesome. The food was just as good, I had the same app and entree but I tasted my BF's meal- the Gorgonzola Chicken and it was really good. I had the tres leches cake (which replaced the cheesecake lollipops- prob after they read Jon's review!) and it was melt in your mouth amazing- they topped it with caramelized bananas.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great service and an overall great meal.
