Great BBQ, make sure you go there hungry! Our group of 4 guys had the Elvis platter and we could only get through half of it. There is a lot of food on there. Enough for 4 Elvis size eaters. We also had some nachos to start and they were very tasty, the platter did come with a lot of fries but only 1 gravy and 1 order of beans. The same that a single serving would get. The food is good and the service is excellent. If you are BBQ afficienado I'm not it would be for you as I found the food good but not overly unique. This is however a very accessible place for those wanting to try BBQ who don't have a lot of experience with it. The spicy stuff isn't going to destroy your tongue and the sauce selection will give you a good sense of regional styles.I'd recommend if you've got a hankering for some Q. More...

We've been told to try several other BBQ places in Calgary and none of them have come even close to Big T's. Prices are great, food is amazing and portions are substantial - we share a one person meal between the two of us and still rarely have room for dessert.

We went to Big T's for supper one night during our week stay in Calgary. The restaurant is easy walking distance from the hotel zone. The atmosphere is very casual (the drinks came in mason jars). The food was great and there was lots of it. The price was reasonable and there was a wide assortment of BBQ meats served in a variety of ways.
