This was the PERFECT PLACE to have a party or gathering. We had a birthday celebration. Lori, the owner was so very helpful and even with leaving for vacation, made sure, details were taken care of. Since Lori, was on vacation, We were left in very capable hands, with her manager Kristy. I can not say enough about Kristy. She came in the day before, on her own time ,while store was closed so we could set up party. She was right there with us, helping to solve any problems, or anything we asked of her. She was such an incredible help! Kristy, is the consummate professional. She dots her I's and crosses the t's. We are so very grateful for her, she goes above and beyond!!! The young man working there was also a huge help to us. He really carried alot up and down the steps for us. ( our party was upstairs) What a great place to go, so much to look at, something there for EVERYONE.... be prepared to be WOW' ED with top notch professionalism. Thank you Team Big Dogs! Very cute, relaxing shop. The owner and her daughter were kind and gladly answered our many questions. The pottery is gorgeous and there is a wide variety of styles, vessels, and colors. We stopped in just to buy some premade pottery and wished we had time to do the "paint-your-own" pieces as there were many many designs available. The studio itself is open, airy and very roomy to accommodate quite a few patrons. Will be telling our traveling friends about our lovely experience here. Thanks! More...

Stopped in this amazing , quaint, fun shop today on my way to Roanoke. I left with two beautiful items. It has a huge selection of pottery (and glass) to purchase but there is so much more. This place is amazing! The shop is clean and adorable, with plenty of goodies to purchase AND make! The staff is friendly and extremely accomodating! They offered to let me and my 18 month old come in early for our Christmas mommy and me plate activity since our local parade was happening at the same time. They were patient and understanding as my son ran around their shop, and were kind enough to finish our plate for us, which turned out amazing!
