I am so grateful for James and his crew at Big Brother Little Brother! We needed a last minute couch removal from our house today (due to a new one being delivered) and I was short on time. I called them yesterday evening just before they closed, and James answered promptly with a fair price. They arrived today at 12:30 which was perfect because our new couch should be here within the hour. All of his staff were friendly and took care not to damage any walls or surroundings to get our current couch from our second floor living room, down our narrow steps and our the narrow door! They were in and out in 15 minutes and were just what we needed in a time crunch! Thank you so much for handling this for us since my boyfriend and I could certainly not have done it on our own. Hired this company to make sure that my vehicle (Porsche Panamera) was loaded onto a moving truck safely.They lifted the vehicle onto their flatbed truck to then be moved over to our moving truck, which we thought was going to be simple but it wasn't and this crew was up for the challenge. The owner was on site and he was confident that he and his crew would get it loaded. Their ETA was between 10-12pm, they arrived on schedule and waited on the arrival of the moving truck. They were in touch with the driver of the moving truck the entire time. Much success to you BBLB, I truly appreciate your services and your knowledge in your field. I give praise to Big Brother Little Brother for their fast, efficient, and affordable service. I am handicapped, and was completely stranded when my car broke down. My friend suggested I give Big Brother Little Brother a call and within a half hour my vehicle was on a flat bed on it's way to the repair shop. Moving is a very stressful time with a lot of moving parts and uncertainty. The last thing you need is to worry about your movers. I've moved many, many times and Big Brother Little Brother are the easiest I've ever worked with. A couple weeks before the move somebody came out to check out my stuff and gave me a very reasonable, FLAT RATE, estimate. I had to change the date a couple times because the closing on my houses got moved around and they accommodated me without any problems or extra charges.The day of the move three guys came out, on time, ready to work. It took them about 90 minutes longer than estimated but it was almost 100 degrees so that was understandable. Again, since it was a flat rate it didn't cost us any extra. The guys were extremely professional, pleasant to have around, and nothing was damaged or mishandled. I would use them again in a heartbeat. More...

These guys are definitely the best priced movers I've been able to find. Â They are nice and polite and will do what you ask. E.V. (also goes by Mike ) is one of the more professional staff members so it helps to talk with him first. The company as a whole isn't the most professional; I was moving out of state and we had a scheduled time but the morning of the move I was told the movers arrived to work unaware that they were to be driving to NJ. Therefore, Â they were about 2 hours late. Â Also, Â when I tipped the men at the end of the day one of them counted the money in front of me. Chris was able to set us up for our preferred in-city moving date with very short notice at a reasonable hourly price compared to a lot of the competition. The three movers led by Blane showed up right on time and worked quickly and steadily to get the job done in under the estimated amount of time. They three of them were friendly, moved very carefully in setting furniture on the new floors, and didn't damage a thing. Best moving experience I've ever had thanks to these guys. What a great group of guys - professional, efficient, kind, funny, respectful of each other and us & our stuff. I appreciated them calling a couple times to confirm that day (was a monsoon outside) and calling me when they were on their way. Hired this company fairly last minute....had tried other companies first which were booked solid for weeks. Â These guys came through. Â Left one star off for professionalism and punctuality. Â When communicating on the phone, it was hard to understand...babies in background. Â Made me feel like I wasn't dealing with a professional business. Â It rained on the day of the move and they called and asked to do another day...I said lets wait an hour. Â It stopped raining and they said they'd arrive in 15-20 min...more like over an hour. 1. These guys were able to move my stuff with only a week's notice. Â Everyone else I called was booked.2. They were 30 minutes late, but their professional service more than made up for this minor snag3. The movers moved my furniture in Philadelphia and did not damage it. Cheap and pretty good! I've used them for my past two moves and overall (for the price) they are totally worth it. It does help to call for confirmation a few days before your move though because (just as others have stated) don't be surprised if he acts like he doesn't know who you are when you call but other than that I would recommend.

I used this service a little over a year ago, and I just decided to write a review as I am in the process of moving again and am looking for movers (I live in DC now so I cannot use them). Â First, they provided a really good rate, and they only charge you for time for they actually are doing work. Â They were 10-15 minutes late to arrive, but they did not charge me for that time. Â There were 3 guys, 2 guys to do the moving, and one guy watching the truck, which I really liked. Â The guys did not waste any time and were not slow. Â They moved my furniture from Philadelphia to Cherry Hill. Â They did not charge me for gas/tolls or travel time. Â They provided with a contract up front so I appreciated that. I am a first-time user of Big Brother Little Brother Movers. I was deeply impressed with the movers' punctuality, respect for my items and overall price. As the other reviewer mentioned, this was the ONLY trustworthy, insured moving business in the city that would accept my appointment date. They have friendly, reliable customer service, and did not add additional charges based on floors, etc. At one point, I needed to borrow some tools and the guys let me use theirs as they packed and moved. They also allowed me to help out the process, which added to the value.This is the ONLY moving company I'll be using from now on, and their strong effort to ensure customer satisfaction, keep competitive (lowest I found) prices and make my move less stressful is exactly why. I was expecting to be taken for a ride. I was completely surprised by the professional service, positive attitudes, and total accommodation made to me during my move. From the office people providing an accurate quote and treating me like they actually wanted my business, to the mover's who picked up and dropped off our stuff that were so professional, I was completely satisfied with this service. On top of it all, they promised to adjust the price of the move once a total inventory had been taken of the stuff we were moving. No questions asked, they adjusted the rate and charged me based on what I was moving, rather than trying to squeeze me for every single dime. I had an estimate beforehand, and set up a fixed price full service move. The paperwork was simple, and I was able to schedule for the precise date I wanted. A team of 3 men arrived on time and got straight to work on moving day. The efficiently but carefully packed everything in my apartment, and had my items on the truck in under 3 hours.
