Since 2010, Bierschenke has been bringing the unique atmosphere of Munich and the Oktoberfest to the City of London. Authenticity is at the heart of the Bierschenke and our staff in traditional Lederhosen and Dirndl, serving only German beers and traditional meat and sausages from our butcher in Bavaria, is central to delivering Gemütlichkeit and a truly Bavarian experience.

Place is clean and big. The basement had a lot of seating and food was good. Staff were friendly. Was there on a quiet night but was told it gets crazy on some nights - especially during Oktoberfest.

UPDATED REVIEW: THEY PLAY AMAZING MUSIC!!!! Dancing Queen, 500 miles!! I can go on ☺️This place is so much fun. Authentically German with a band and all. Great beer, but even better food! Wow, the Haxe was probably the best I've ever had. And the platter my friends ordered was huge! They couldn't finish it. Feels spacious even when full of people (and there were lots of people). I like the tabbing system - a bit too easy to keep on ordering, but nevertheless very effective. I highly recommend this place for a fun night out, a great dinner or event. More...

We went there to watch a Champions League match that involved a German club. Overall, the place is very spacious which is good because it gets overcrowded. Location is great, right next to Liverpool Street Station. There are big TV screens pretty much everywhere and big projectors upstairs and downstairs. Food was also quite good (not amazing) and they had a few interesting beers on tap. I recommend this place and will go back again for some more CL action More...

Brilliant place with brilliant service from their team , I’ve been looked after by few people there during my last visit with my management team and all of us had a great time , special mention should go to Loredana who helped me out (alongside with the shift manager- I forgot his name ) with some payment issues , the food is great and I will keep on coming back there and recommend this place as often as possible , as I work in catering I know how difficult is to deal with people who had “too many “ during their night out , well done guys !
