Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa

Great hotel that I’ve now stayed in several times. Very good value with spacious & clean rooms. There is a good gym, pool & spa on site. OK sports bar with friendly staff. Only had breakfast which was agood buffet spread with ordering options too. Great location for visiting Bicester Outlet Village (reason always for our visit) - you get discount card via the hotel too which is a great bonus. Free parking. Tip - if visiting shopping village on a busy day get a cab from the hotel to save parking issues. More...

We stayed here before our shopping trip to Bicester Village. The hotel is very convenient as it’s only 5 minutes away from the village. |The hotel is great and it had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and check out were smooth and our room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and a great TV with all the channels. As well as this they provide water, tea, coffee and biscuits and a comfy dressing gown. The only issue with our room was that the water wasn’t draining too well in the shower but this wasn’t a big issue and was resolved when we removed the plug cap. Also they provide nice amenities but it would have been good to provide a body lotion as well. |The gym is amazing and very big with a wide variety of equipment which was great for us. |We also ate in Gray’s restaurant for our dinner which was superb, the cod and salmon were delicious and David, one of the waiters provided top class service. The wine menu is also vast. |I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well which had so much choice! |I will definitely return if we have another shopping trip at Bicester Village as the hotel is great and on top of this you can get 10% off in most of the boutiques at the village by scanning a leaflet in reception of the hotel on your way out. My Partner and I spent a night here and throughly enjoyed ourselves. Free access to the Spa facilities and great food just topped off the stay! Friendly and helpful reception staff and organised restaurant staff made the stay even more relaxing as we had nothing to worry about! ||WiFi and service was a pit patchy but other than that fabulous! Upon arrival the cleanliness and polite staff stand out.||We ordered food it did take 45 mins for 2 burgers, they were well worth the wait, scrumptious home made burgers. ||The room is so clean everything you'd need for a pleasant stay, the only fault is a brighter light by the desk could be useful as I like to sit there and do my makeup.||Bed was comfortable we had a great sleep. ||||Now this is why I've only given 4 stars, the breakfast was an absolute farce, when walking into the restaurant area it was like walking into a sauna, the queue for a fried breakfast was not moving and absolutely huge, everyone was waiting on fresh supplies to be bought out,(bacon, hash browns etc) we gave up in the end as after 20 mins as when it did come out obviously the ones at the front of the queue used it all, More...

Polite welcome, good selection of well kept beers in the bar |The restaurant was fairly quiet and no pressure to hurry.|Nibbles arrived with the starters|Starters were tasty but not piping hot|Main took an age to arrive but were tasty, the Hake dish was excellent, the fish really well cooked. Having worked in high end Hotels over the years . ||The Bicester Hotel is on its way to the best of them.||With the newley reformed food menu to its highest standard. ||The reception staff are friendly are welcoming.||The spa ladies are trully on point in knowing there Buisness and very helpfull.||If you fancy a decent cocktail drink then head to the main Bar there.||The Restuarant is modern if not a little bit jazz in decor but all worth experiencing.||as for the food service.. its good and attentive, nothing's to much trouble and a Good restaurant manager.||The gym there is a good size with plenty of choices to train/exercise on and again helpfull staff.||Overall a good experience. Just had a fantastic weekend here and couldn't fault the front of house staff and bar staff they were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Room was lovely even though we were given a disabled room still very clean and beautiful. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from and again the staff were amazing. However can't say the same about the spa staff !. Paid for a treatment and cost me £45.00 for a facial and have to say it was the worst facial I have ever had. My friend also paid for a treatment and she said the same. The lady that did mine clearly didn't want to be there and I felt like an inconvenience to her at all times. It wouldn't stop me staying again but certainly wouldn't waste my money on treatments. More...

On the whole everything was very good. The receptionists were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Cleanliness is exemplary. The only small negative point was that the staff in the Brasserie started moving all the furniture around to prepare for seating various numbers of people for lunch. All tables and chairs were noisily dragged around until they were happy with the result. The breakfast was lovely. The room was nice and clean, but could not lower fan speed for air conditioning so had to turn it off.
