This is a spectacular place to go to for some black eyed pea's and ribs. This was by far the best soul food ever. The food was plentiful and the service was above standards . Our waitress Cassandra was so personal and took exceptional care of us . Let me tell y'all something. I'm a Florida girl. A southern girl...but soul food has never been my favorite. I came here after being invited following a church service. I ordered the beef stew and it changed my life. The food was soooooo good. Keep in mind, I told y'all that I don't really care for soul food. It's just like mama's kitchen. It's an old place with stains on the glasses and tables and a cool that talks plenty shit! BUT I LOVE IT! I always order the oxtail plate with Mac and cheese, candied yams and cornbread. Yum-o!!! The lemonade is always sweet as hell and it hits the spot!
