Caitie and Betty Lou Events were a dream come true from the very beginning and far exceeded all of my expectations!! I wasn't fond of the original coordinator my venue provided so I was on the hunt for a new one. From the moment I spoke to Caitie she eased every worry and stressor I had. Right then I knew I had found "the one!". From 6 weeks out she took over all communication with my vendors and made the most detailed timeline I could have ever imagined. She even handles your rehearsal! Day of - Caitie and her team were absolutely amazing! Not only did she go above and beyond keeping everyone organized and on schedule she's a blast to spend the day with and a ball of sunshine. The one part I completely overlooked was the aftermath...rest assured Caitie and her team will pack up everything so you don't have to lift a finger or worry about a thing. Betty Lou Events, is hands down, the best investment we made for our wedding!! Caitie owner of Betty Lou Events came up with a vision that was truly …us! She took the lead in providing us with recommendations for vendors that we really loved. We were even lucky enough to have Caitie’s husband, who is extremely handy, build us a custom escort board and place cards, which were amazing! We were married at a former Studebaker car dealership, and we incorporated antique items from my grandfather’s collection. The groom’s father was ordained so he married us, our 13-year old Pomeranian was in our ceremony, and friends played at our ceremony and produced our first dance song. We loved being able to incorporate our closest family and friends in our wedding. On our wedding day, Caitie and her assistant Alex were onsite to streamline the production with the vendors, assist with wedding pictures, ensured that awkward family meltdowns didn’t occur, and even packed everything up at the end of the night. Just wait until you see her wedding day timeline, its incredible! If you couldn’t tell, my husband and I are extremely, type A, and we truly appreciated being able to relax on our wedding day and spend time with family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. With just a couple of months until the wedding day, I emailed a few wedding planners looking for day of coordination. Caitie was the first to respond to schedule time to talk and after I spoke with her I knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else. She was EVERYTHING we could have ever asked for and a trillion times more. When I think of Caitie, I think of these traits: 'impeccable' and genuine, honest, trustworthy, and so much more. Her communication is above and beyond (which is SO important in the wedding industry). Her eye, style and taste is absolutely impeccable. She was so comforting and truthful in what we did and did not need. Initially, my mom and I didn't know exactly how day of coordination fit into our budget or the flow of the process; and now I could not imagine the day (or months leading up) without Caitie. We quickly eased ourselves into asking her tons of questions (all answered in record time) and including Caitie in all communication. I am confident that without her support we would not have had the same impeccable day. Caitie and her team at Betty Lou Events are absolutely incredible. I hired Caitie at the last minute after working with another Baltimore planner for over a year and feeling completely overwhelmed and alone in the wedding planning process. Within a matter of a day, Caitie made an on-site visit at my venue happen and drafted a vision board for my wedding that was exactly what I described to her, but better. She worked seamlessly with the great vendors I had already hired and brought more great vendors in. She was responsive, hilarious, and made the planning process SO much fun despite our very limited timeframe. Caitie was with me the entire day of the wedding and couldn’t have ran a more flawless event. My reception venue ended up being more beautiful than I could have ever imagined thanks to her impeccable eye for design.
