Betty photographed our autumn wedding and we cannot be any happier. Betty is a very talented photographer with a great eye for detail, we were amazed with the amount of details that were captured on the day. She was also very flexible and responsive with any obstacles occurred on the day. We were quite worried about the photos from the civil ceremony after knowing the registrar was being obstructive (we didn't notice it at the time as we were busy wiping tears). Seriously, we were over the moon when we saw the photos- all precious moments the captured. We are so impressed with Betty's professionalism and ability to handle unforseen circumstances like this. We had a Chinese tea ceremony to celebrate our cultures. Having seen many tea ceremonies photos, Betty definitely documented this custom in a fresh and unique perspective. Our guests commended on how observant and interactive Betty was at the wedding. The photos demonstrate varying depth of field and great compositions which reflect the fantastic technically Betty has. And we love the candid style Betty edited the photos to enhance and show the true colours of the day- we are not a fan of photos with an unnatural cool or warm tone.We cannot thank Betty enough for artiscally documenting our big day, she has truly exceeded all our expectations. On the day you went above and beyond to ensure you captured every moment we discussed and even liaised and guided our videographer as they had never been to our venue before. It is a true joy to share these beautiful pictures with our friends and family and have had many comments saying the pictures should be in magazines. We adore the packaging of the USB and we were pleasantly surprised to receive pictures along with it. Our pictures are perfect and we will be forever grateful to you. We choose Betty to photograph our wedding in June 2019 and we could not have been happier with our choice. She took over 3500 photos on the day and edited 750 to send back to us. We smiled, cried and laughed when we watched the photo's back which had captured the entire day beautifully. What we really did not expect is the amount of support that Betty offered to us before and on the wedding day. Guidance with planning the timings of the day, kind words of reassurance on the morning before the ceremony, ensuring that we had plenty of water (and champagne) to keep us hydrated and even arranging for some dog poo to be removed so that none of our guests had an accident were way beyond what we expected out photographer to offer. Betty really went above and beyond; it felt like she was a friend of ours rather than an employee for the day. I contacted Betty when I was organising my surprise proposal to my partner in Bath, after searching through various options, I came across Betty’s website and seeing her photographs on how they were Elegantly presented. We could not recommend Betty more highly after she photographed our wedding (August 2015). The set of photographs we have are simply perfect- she captured the day wonderfully via informal shots and some group and couple portraits which we asked for. Moreover, Betty is an incredibly talented photographer who captured some truly magical shots with impressive lighting and focus detailing. Everyone we have shown the photos to has commented on the quality of the shots and asked who took them!However having Betty as our photographer was more then the end result, she was a pleasure to work with prior to, on and after the wedding day. Prior to the day, we met a couple of times and very quickly built a rapport- something which resulted in a really relaxed atmosphere when it was time for portraits during our wedding. Additionally, Betty really listened to what we wanted and gave us some very useful suggestions with regards to the organisation of the day's key events. We asked Betty to photograph our wedding in Bath based on her existing online portfolio which we considered very impressive. We met Betty prior to engaging her services and talked through our requirements; we found her approach to be open, helpful and practical. She reassured us about the process, helped us identify the types of shots we wanted and help us plan how we could make best use of the day to get the photographs we wanted.Neither of us particularly like having our photograph taken, however we found Betty put us totally at ease and we really enjoyed having the photographs taken. During the wedding she was inconspicuous, and all of our guests remarked on her professionalism and ability to put people at ease. During the post wedding shots we found Betty to be creative and made magnificent use of the surrounding.The photographs themselves were absolutely stunning, a mixture of different styles as we had asked for, from classic wedding posed shots to some more creative shots. A number of the pictures captured those some small moments and conveyed the emotion of the day, and again all our friends and family commented on their high quality. The prints were delivered in good time and communication with Betty throughout excellent.Overall we could not have been more pleased with the photographs and the overall experience, which we still believe represented good value for money. Betty’s skill go way beyond the “typical” wedding shots and it is evident photography is not just her job but her passion. I could not recommend Betty more highly as a wedding photographer.We recently got married at the royal Crescent Hotel in Bath and we found Betty online. As we lived a couple of hours away, our initial contact was over Skype and we immediately found her very easy to get on with and she was very flexible with our ideas. We were keen to have a few set photos but then capture much more of what was happening throughout the day and Betty has given us a wonderful array of photos. She also knows a lot about the wedding industry and gave us advice on a few other things in the run up to the wedding.The final package that she sent us was very professional. We didn't get any photo books but she sent us all of the photos on her own branded memory sticks, each photo with 2 levels of quality (for printing and social media).
