Last week, November 26, we had a problem late in the afternoon with our sump pump and the receptionist was not sure if they could get someone that evening. Within an hour, Tyler phoned to say that he would be here shortly. Tyler arrived within an hour, and within another hour, he completed the installation of a new sump pump. I have only been living in the London area for 2 years. We bought a house in Strathroy and had a couple of problems with pipes clogging. The first time it happened was on a weekend. I called around and every plumber wanted us to wait until Monday or pay a hefty price. All except Best Contracters. They came out to Strathroy that Saturday. Fixed the problem, and I didn't need to take out a second mortgage...lol. Recently we had a problem again. I called and got Ian.... I told him the sistuation and that both my wife and I are working. He and his team came out and fixed the problem and left the house spotless... ( my wife appreciated that :) ). I trust Best Contracters with all my household issues. I would like to commend Shawn and his crew. Joe & Trevor just completed a sewer replacement at my home, prior to the infrastructure roadwork scheduled for
Trowbridge Ave shortly. Joe & Trevor are hard working, professional, respectful of people and property. They kept me informed, answered my questions, as well as many from neighbours who came by. They worked long days, yet cleaned up at the end of each day, ensuring fencing kept the worksite safe overnight. I can and have strongly recomended Best Contractors.

I have had Best Plumbing and Drainage install a catch basin in my backyard, complete basement waterproofing, and install a backwater valve. Shawn readily answers all questions and takes the time to explain the work thoroughly. He even offered to meet with my neighbours to ensure they were comfortable with the work being done adjacent to their property. They are efficient and do an outstanding job cleaning up the worksite when they are finished. Shawn, the owner, sent his plumber, Ian out to videoscope my sewer pipe because I had had a big sewer backup and was having difficulty with the original plumbing company who fixed the initial problem for me. Ian provided me with a copy of the video and marked out on my yard the spots where he discovered the blockage. They were both extremely responsive to me and VERY helpful. On Sunday my drains overflowed in my basement and main floor and Joe came by and was an absolute miracle worker. Not only did he stay and make sure the job was completed but he cleaned up the basement and was so kind and friendly. He put me at ease and I was so appreciative of his help and kindness. I have nothing but great things to say about Best Contractors. I had an emergency at our office downtown to the point where the employees could use the washrooms. I phoned Best Contractors and spoke to a receptionist who was very helpful and pleasant - she told me Ian would be in touch at some point during the day. Called in Christmas night to have someone come in asap. Trevor came asap and fixed our problem. Very respectful and knew his stuff so well. Professional and knowledgeable. Trevor mentioned to me over the phone they have a camera as they do the snake in the sewers to look in etc. No one else offered that when i called for someone to come asap. I would strongly recommend Shawn and his team. I had hired this company 12 years ago to repair my water issues in the basement. Last month, I had a water issue after 12 years for the first time. I contacted Shawn and he came out immediately to evaluate the situation. I am beyond impressed by Shawn and Best Contractors as he made the situation right by honouring a warranty that was in place prior to his ownership. His level of customer service is outstanding. I will continue to recommend Best Contractors to all my neighbours and friends. In today’s world, finding a company who truly cares about customer service is difficult. The two individuals that came to my home worked exceptionally hard in difficult circumstances to repair my basement . They were courteous, helpful and took great pride in doing a good job. They protected the grass to avoid damage from many, many wheelbarrow runs of dirt and stone.The site was left in immaculate condition, including seeding and river rock.I would highly recommend Best for drainage work. I was very pleased with the service. Ian, the plumber, arrived when he said he would, was friendly and outgoing, immediately identified the problem with my sump pump, addressed it, made sure it wouldn't happen again, and then went on to ensure my back up system was working properly.
