We could not be more grateful to Frank for our dog’s change in behavior, and our confidence in raising her. She was 70 pounds of fearful and unsocialized german shepherd, and wouldn’t even let him in the driveway for the consultation. After 5 months of good lessons(for us and nova), we have learned what her issues are, and how to mitigate them. Shes not a model citizen quite yet, but we are well on our way, and as we learned, its our job to keep up with the training to make sure she can put her best paw forward :) More...

My husband and I would definitely recommend Frank! Our two pups new basic commands such as sit, shake, etc. but with the education, tips, and homework provided to us, they can do so much more. They do not pull us when we go on walks, they are a lot calmer when we have company over, and they don't jump up after their food -- to name a few. Frank helped my wife and I out with our dog and her anxiety around other dogs. He is very knowledgeable about dog training. He gave just the right amount of homework and we feel we have the tools and knowledge to keep working towards our dog's anxiety. The training was fun, we learned a lot and have seen a positive change in our dog. We did not think she needed basic obedience skill, but they made a huge difference in following my wife and I as leaders both inside the house and outside where anxious stimuli exisist. We called Frank to help with our 1 year old GSP named Cash. From the first lesson, Cash was a totally different dog. With Franks help and guidance, Cash went from jumping on everyone he saw, not being able to be walked on a leash, and generally just being “bullheaded”. We used Best Paw Forward for our rescue pointer mix, Brody, who was fear aggressive. Frank was great to work with! He focused on the exact needs of Brody and was able to teach us appropriate training tactics to help him overcome his fear and build confidence. Prior to working with Frank, we had no idea where to start and how to correct Brody. We felt like we couldn't bring him into certain environments due to his fear. Different trainers have different methods, and we found that Frank's method worked particularly well for us and our dog. Frank taught us how to better lead our dog, and we've noticed marked improvement as we've practiced his training techniques. He worked with us and our dog both at our home and at a nearby park, which gave us the opportunity to practice and receive feedback in different environments.
