This is hands downs THE BEST BBQ in LA! We live in Venice and Berkley came with service for 20 like it was no big deal. He rolled up with all the fixings including ribs, chicken, finger licking corn on the cob, baked beans, rolls, salads galore. We had enough food to send everyone home with a care package! Call Berkley for ALL of your BBQ needs. He's amazing and thorough and will make you look so good as you throw a  stress free event. He even brought swag for my kids! This guy is awesome he can e to are City yard and did a bbq for the guys and we were more than pleased the food is unbelievable. This guy should have a tv cooking show.  Plus his homemade bbq sauce is incredible. All the guys were asking for bottles. The guys at work are not easy to please,when it comes to food really picky about what they spend there money on to eat and we are not little guys. Everyone of us are big eaters. Berkley's catered our Employee luncheon. I WAS IMPRESSED! First, the came by a couple days before to scout out the location. On the day of, they showed up early and set up their smoker along with their EZ Ups. Extremely professional, but family style! The BBQ was great. Berkeley did a really nice job for our small birthday party of 20. He was right on time and I was utterly surprised that he went above and beyond by bringing in an extra side dish. I wasn't expecting it but he was prepared with all of the serving utensils, utensils, and the salad dishes (potato, green salad and  coleslaw) were packed on ice and everything.  Now to the food, the chicken w/ pineapples and baked beans were a huge hit. My husband and son gobbled up left overs for dinner until it was gone. Next time I'd like to try the ribs but for this small occasion it was just right. More...

We just finished an awesome lunch that was catered at the site I'm working on I must say this was hands down the best BBQ that I've had the potatoe salad was amazing as was the baked beans and corn on the Cobb I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. ....

My Son recommended  Berkley's Original Backyard BBQ for my daughter's graduation party from USC. The pork ribs, chicken, Cole slaw and potato salad were a big hit. Family and friends couldn't  get enough. The server's  were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The ribs, hot links and chicken were tender and full of flavor. The bbq baked beans and rolls were a perfect compliment. Our servers were professional and super friendly. It was a great experience from beginning to end. We are happy customers and will be calling again. I recommend Berkley and his crew cater your event because he won't disappoint. Off the freakin hook! I hosted a luncheon for one of my clients in El Monte (I am from Lawndale). Berkley and crew showed up early and over delivered on taste and quality! Food was awesome, we got chicken, ribs, and Tri-Tip with all the sides and drinks. All items were top notch. Berkley is an artiste and puts a lot of heart and soul into his food, it shows. The client loved his BBQ and sides, spread (Xmas decorations and music), and his personality.I grew up on J&J, Phillip's, Tony Romas, and Chicago for Ribs.His topped them all. His signature (bottled) sauce wasn't for sale yet but we consumed all that he had.We will have him back for our all-client appreciation dinner in a few months for 250 people. 100% recommended!!! Berkley catered for one of our company meetings and it was GREAT! They showed up early and everyone was SO friendly. They had chicken, sausage, potato salad, beans, coleslaw and salad. I was obsessed with their salad dressing! Food choices for meetings often end in moans and groans because someone wasn't happy.... Not this time!  Recommended is an understatement. Thanks again! Berkley provided a high quality, catered lunch for 150 of our Geek Squad Agents today. He showed up extra early to freshly prepare the food on site and it showed in the flavor. We had chicken and sausages with Cole slaw, potato salad and baked beans. All were delicious and the team raved about the food. I have used Berkley's multiple times.  The biggest was for 80 guests.  The food was amazing!  The BBQ Chicken and sausage were so good.  He even made some roasted veggies for my vegetarian guests. Everybody loved it.   I love his potato salad and BBQ sauce.  Yummy!     I am in the pharmaceutical field and have worked with many caterers in the past.  I love working with Berkley, he makes it very easy.  Delivery and set up is also very professional. We hired Berkley to cater a medical school graduation party, which had 60 guests from all walks of life... friends, family, colleagues, mentors, etc. .. and everyone (adults and children alike) loved the food.  We got the smoked chicken, smoked tri-tip, potato salad, corn, and beans (which he was able to modify for guests' dietary needs) and it was all incredible.  If anyone is putting together an event, I can't recommend Berkley's Backyard BBQ highly enough.  Aside from the food, Berkley and his staff were incredibly hospitable, and a pleasure to have around. This is Orange County's best kept secret!!!! Berkley's BBQ was the best thing that I ever could have found on the internet. His customer service is not only outstanding but it was far beyond my expectations. As far as the food goes...we had no hungry guests! The food was unlike anything I had ever had.
