We kennel our dog(s) here when we vacation in the area. The staff has always been friendly and professional on the phone and in person. They always remember my dogs and treat them like their own pets. I love that I can get my dogs out to go play on the beach for the day, and then take them back for the night. The staff is well informed about any kind of illnesses/issues that can occur with dogs, and they always keep a close eye on my pets after they’ve been playing on the beach all day. We’ve never boarded our pups before and travelled to SC from NY for a wedding. I was a wreck! A friend recommended we bring them to Benji’s. They were so warm and welcoming we immediately felt at ease. The pups were happy upon pickup and as a bonus we had them groomed there so they looked and smelled great ! I moved here six years ago and have used Benjis numerous times. They do EXCELLENT pet care. The reason they ask for all the shot information is to protect your pet and all the others. My husband and I do a lot of volunteer work for St Francis No Kill Animal Shelter in Georgetown and see first hand the results of what happens when animals do not get the medical care they need and deserve. Benji's just wants to make sure all the animals are safe. We are VERY picky where we leave our three pups while we travel.
