Our wedding took place at the Ranger's House in Blackheath. We wanted a relaxed approach to our wedding photography without too many staid group shots or stiff portraits. I asked Ben to take a family portrait for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We had attended a wedding for which Ben had been the photographer.and had both been impressed by the photographs (he also came strongly endorsed by the bride and groom). From the outset of the process, Ben put us both at ease--no small feat given that neither of us are especially fond of having our photo taken! Before the wedding, we found him communicative and readily available to discuss plans (given we are based in the U.S. this was especially appreciated). Our function ran for four hours in The Grand Connaught Rooms, near Covent Garden. It involved over 400 elderly people and a senior member of the Royal Family as the Guest of Honour.
Ben Joseph provided comprehensive photographic coverage of the whole event, portraying both individuals and groups in different settings, as well as formal speakers, throughout the programme.
His pictures captured people’s emotions and their interaction in vivid form and constitute a memorable record of a special day.

We are absolutely ecstatic about our pre-wedding photos and have had so many compliments from others too. Ben seemed to understand pretty much straight away our style/personalities and managed to encapsulate that beautifully in his work. Ben was amazing. From the moment we turned up at his studio dripping wet, (London rain catches us all out) to the day of our wedding.
Ben knew exactly the type of photos we wanted, very journalistic. He caught the guests and us in very natural poses and how we are - as us.
We didnt want big group 'staged' Wedding shots. Ben acknowledged that and took a few close family shots and did it with humour and fun - despite the slight rain.
Would reccommend to anyone and everyone. The galleries when you see them... worth ever penny.

We have just received our wedding photos from Ben Joseph. We couldn't be more impressed. He was engaging and efficient in organising multiple group shots, and has captured so many brilliant moments of people enjoying themselves throughout the night (with impressive stealthiness). Professional and personal is how we would describe Ben! At our initial meeting with him, we talked through the different styles of photos. We wanted a few of the traditional staged family photos, outside of that we were looking for something a little more natural. Ben was able to show us some great examples of other shoots that he had done previously, so we could agree exactly style we were looking for.

As the wedding date approached, Ben was great at keeping in touch to make sure that we were completely happy with what we wanted and that we had thought about who we wanted our traditional pictures with, so he could capture everyone.

On the day, Ben was fab - in the nicest possible way, the greatest thing about Ben is that you didn't notice that he was there, which is what you want in a great photographer!!! We considered a number of reportage style photographers for our wedding in July 2015 and decided we really liked Ben's images, his composition and attention to detail.

We were really impressed with the images from our wedding, and feel they capture the real essence of the day and those moments where people were at their most natural.

We were particularly pleased with the shots of us as a couple throughout the day, especially as Ben was able to use his knowledge of the venue and surrounding area to ensure we didn't end up with those "awkward, staged" wedding pictures. We also liked how Ben managed to combine some really lovely images of us juxtaposed against the hustle and bustle of the city.
