How long have you been interested in magic?
My grandfather used to teach me magic as a child and I kept it up until university when I started to gravitate towards the more mental side of magic. I've been focusing primarily on Mind Reading as a hobby for 12 years and professionally for 6.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
As a close-up Mind Reader I can force cards on people using psychological techniques, work out which celebrity you're thinking of, read the body language of an entire group of people to find a missing object, and even remove your ability to read (briefly). That's just the start!
What do you love most about your job?
The fact that what I do is never 100% guaranteed success because everyone's different, unlike sleight of hand magic or illusion I get different responses from everyone every time, and am always learning from my volunteers as they learn from me about the incredible capabilities of the brain.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There was nobody in the country doing what I can do and I wanted to start sharing it outside my circle of friends and people I met. I'm a very unique performer and wanted to dedicate my life to pushing the boundaries of psychological magic and showing as many people as possible what can be achieved in the name of entertainment through the mastery of body language reading.
Why should our clients choose you?
Once you hire me you'll never forget what you witness. I'm great at breaking the ice and getting people talking, speculating over how I did what I did and how impossible it may have appeared. What is an entertainer for if not to create lasting memories?
