We organised an engagement shoot with Ben and it was a great experience all round. He was really efficient in getting back to my initial enquiry and offered exactly what we were looking for and even suggested location ideas as well. Upon meeting Ben he was really friendly and made us feel at ease straight away. He said he would get the photos back to us within a few weeks but we had the nice surprise of receiving them sooner. Ben was just amazing from start to finish! From our pre-wedding shoot to the first dance at our wedding, he made sure we were comfortable and happy to create the most amazing photos! All the guests loved him and how at ease everyone was with him taking their photo. He got the photos done sooner than we expected which caught us both by surprise and when we finished looking through the photos, they were incredible! It was like we were re-living the whole day again and we got to see all the things that happened that we weren't there for or that we may have not seen from where we were standing. Ben was brilliant! It only took him 3 weeks to edit all our photos (all 459 of them) and for them to arrive. They did not disappoint! Throughout our wedding day (and after) we had so many guests commenting on how brilliant Ben was and how they thought he was one of our friends- that's how relaxed he made us feel! He chatted to our guests- allowed them to take photos of him- and got all the shots we wanted. Thank you for photographing our special little boys christening day. We wasn’t sure at the beginning whether to have a photographer or not, but my god we are so glad we did. We booked Ben for our wedding in January this year. Prior to this time, we had a ‘pre-wedding’ photo shoot with him, in the grounds of Sandringham. This gave us all the opportunity to get to know each other better and be able to relax more on the day. It was definitely worthwhile. Before our wedding, I gave Ben quite a detailed list of photos I would like on the wedding day. This was no mean task, but was undertaken in his stride. On the actual wedding day, Ben arrived in plenty of time to take photos at home before we left and also at the church before the brides arrival. He stayed with us throughout the ceremony, another photo shot location, the reception, cake cutting and 1st dances. Everyone commented what a nice chap he was and certainly made a lasting impression with his persona. Whilst on honeymoon, he kept us entertained with ‘drips’ of pictures from the day, to wet our appetite for when we got home. He then provided us with a USB stick of over 600 spectacular pictures of which we struggled to get down to 60 for a photo album. The photo album was superb and the quality was excellent. We would most certainly recommend Ben to other people and not hesitate to use him ourselves again for any opportunities in the future. More...

Would highly recommend Ben if you want to catch some beautiful moments on a special occasion. Ben came and did our wedding in May, and I can't believe how amazing he was. We had a meeting with a few different photographers but as soon as we met Ben we knew there was no one else. He came, he saw, he conquered. He has an amazing eye and was barely noticed by the party, was happy to take plenty of silly photos and nothing was too much. Highly recommend Ben. He taught me how to use my camera properly and I've learnt so much about what cameras can do! My camera is a bridge type which is generally limited when it comes to taking professional looking photos. Ben researched my camera before the lessons and showed me how to work around its limitations. I'm so happy that I had the lessons as it's opened up so many opportunities and Ben taught me so much. Ben has taught me how to use my Nikon camera. (I love taking picture's of my kids but I wasn't making the most of my equipment. .. all the gear with no idea!) The difference with a good teacher and a great teacher is that Ben didn't hold back on his knowledge. Everything he knew he was keen to teach me so I got the most out of my camera.
