I'm an experienced and friendly Personal Trainer, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I offer my services in various gyms across the North East, and also a mobile PT service for those who'd prefer to train elsewhere. I'm fully certified and REPS registered.

I signed up to complete Ben’s first 28 days Leaner Programme in May. I have been sceptical of these programmes in the past, but after contact with Ben I was reassured that participating could only lead to benefits. My main aim was to be happier, healthier and to loose weight to help with pregnancy. I am really grateful I listened to Ben’s advice and completed the course. The exercises were enjoyable and manageable and fitted in perfectly to a busy work and home life, even exercising with my one year old was possible...and entertaining for him! I am now 18 weeks pregnant and honestly believe this is down to this programme and Ben’s experience and knowledge. I can not recommend this enough and will happily take part again when baby arrives! I had a good few sessions with Ben and I really enjoyed them. He takes time to prepare your sessions and really listens to your goals. As a result I feel more confident with the equipment in the gym and I’ve enjoyed pushing myself. He’s a great trainer and I would recommend him to friends and family. More...

Im feeling much better about myself in a short space of time .I would highly recommend this lad he really motivates his clients to achieve there best and really wants you to do well . If you get a buz he gets a buz and is generally happy for his clients when they feel determined & better about themselves he has a really nice nature aswell makes you feel very comfortable which is how you should feel when your wanting to better yourself Excellent at what he does i can see a difference mentally and physically in myself in a very short space of time .Highly recommend this lad . I trained with Ben for four months while working in Newcastle. During that time I actually gained a love for the gym, although this may have been down to our chats about conspiracy theories and random shit. � I wanted to feel more confident in my body and attempt to grow my pancake arse in to a decent booty. I did both of those things in those four months but, not only that I also improved my posture, which is something I’ve always been quite paranoid about. Ben did exercises with me to help strengthen my neck and back and I am now genuinely less wonky. Definitely recommend Ben as a trainer, he’s a top guy and also great value for money, especially compared to the prices you pay for a PT in Manchester! ��� More...

It's fair to say that my journey to the best shape of my life isn't over yet. However, I am so proud and shocked at how far I have been able to come in only a few short months with Ben's help. I have transitioned from a young woman who hated sport in school and was never a fan of physical activity; who accepted that little bit of extra weight. To someone who does squats in her bedroom at 10pm and goes jogging just because she can.

I went into the process not expecting to see many results as I hadn't before, and had never tried to push myself physically. However, with Ben's help I have been amazed, and love to push myself now. I am happier within myself which was one of my major goals, and not only does Ben make working out enjoyable, his ability to tailor your work out always makes it new and interesting rather than boring and monotonous. He mixes fun work outs with nutritional help. However, what I have found that sets it apart is his easy going attitude and ability to cater and understand the way that each individual needs to be pushed. I never dread a work out no matter how hard, and have since felt able to attend exercise classes I wouldn't have dreamed of before. His catering to the well being of his clients goes above and beyond, making sure that you know your internal and mental health is just as important; and can have a detrimental effect on your physical health. Plus he puts up with your complaining but never relents, and listens to your bitching about life along with some useful funny life advice; that makes you feel like mates after your first work out! So thanks Ben and hopefully my process only gets better!

Q&As

This all depends on you, your feelings towards exercise, and what your fitness goals are. When meeting a client for the first time, I always look to discover exactly what your fitness goals are, your reasons for wanting to improve, and any obstacles that may prevent you from achieving your goals.
Once we've defined your goals, it's time for me to create your plan. My primary training methods include:

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Resistance training (machines and free weights),
Bodyweight exercises
Olympic lifting
Functional training.

As you can see, a pretty varied approach! I feel it's important to see exercise as pleasurable rather than a chore, so I work hard to make each session with me as fun and varied as possible. I really believe this helps to keep you motivated, and continue to make progress throughout our time working together.

I'm always contactable via phone or email for my clients, to either offer advice or support whenever necessary. Whatever it takes, I'm here to help every step of the way.

I'd be wary of anybody making unrealistic claims of knowing the 'secret' to getting the body of your dreams!

I know it doesn't sound particularly glamorous, but hard work and consistency are vital to achieving your dream physique.

Having the knowledge of how to train effectively and efficiently will massively speed this process up, which is where I'm able to help. There's nothing worse than putting the effort in, attending the gym for month after month but still seeing no progress. We need to train smart, as well as train hard.

Your nutrition is also key, and this is an area where I'm happy to offer advice and any help you may need. Again, I don't believe there is any secret miracle diet that works for everybody. I believe that simple changes and recommendations to your existing diet gives us the best chance of making a sustained positive change to your body.

I love to help people reach their goals, sometimes goals they never thought were possible. It's a fantastic feeling to look back on a client's journey at how far they've come and what they've been able to achieve.

I wanted to do something where I felt like I was making a real difference to real people. Fitness is my passion in life, and has helped me become the person I am today. Before starting my business, I would often help family and friends with fitness programmes, or offering nutritional advice. The more I did this, the more I enjoyed it, and seeing their results only motivated me further. Eventually I decided to take the plunge. I left my previous job and started my business. I've truly never been happier, and wake up each morning ready to give 100% to my clients.

I'm professional and focused entirely on your results. I treat each client as an individual, and make sure your training is enjoyable, as well as effective!
