The service we received was excellent from start to finish and I'm so glad we chose Belvoir to sell our property.I appreciate all the work both Brian, Lorretto and the team put in along the way and the extra mile they all went to. If your looking for a service which is focused on whats best for you as opposed to margins and sales targets, and a more honest approach then Belvoir is the team to use. After coming home from work to find a concern with the boiler and hot water tank, I was able to speak to a very helpful Property manager after hours. Gwen was able to provide support and guidance on how to proceed. A support call was logged on Friday evening and an engineer was onsite a few hours after the branch opened on Saturday. I moved with Belvoir, Southampton as a result of an unpleasant and protracted experience with another agent. Belvoir invariably were accommodating and professional to the last detail. I rented a property through Belvoir for a number of years, and had nothing but positive experiences in my interactions with them (which were few and far between - they just let you get on with living in the place you're renting)! Never any fees when renewing tenancy agreement (unlike a LOT of other letting agents), and rent barely increased over the four years I was there.Belvoir (and in particular Gwen and Loretto) were easy to contact whenever anything needed to be maintained in the property, and upon leaving the deposit return was processed very quickly. I have been with Belvoir for just about a year now. I was previously with Leaders. So far the difference in quality of service is remarkable. You only learn about how good a service is when things go wrong. Unfortunately I have had a few maintenance issues lately. Belvoir have gone out of their way to resolve these issues. They get involved with the investigation themselves whereas Leaders seem to just send a contractor in whose interest is to find something wrong and charge the highest price for putting it right.When I queried something with Belvoir it was properly investigated and my reading of the situation was found to be correct. I used Belvoir lettings to managed my 3 bedroom property in Chandlers Ford, it was transferred to them after the sale of Langford Charles in late 2015 and was managed by them until October 2017. During the entire time my property was being managed by Belvoir I was located in the USA.The transfer of the management role was very smooth and efficient. The team did a grand job with their regular inspections - many photographs were taken during each inspection which helped me get a good insight into the state of things. The team also had workmen come address issues with the property very promptly and for a very reasonable price. They were also very accommodating when it came to paying them directly for the work done, or letting me pay the contractors invoices directly, or bundling it into my regular management fee invoice. The team also worked very professionally and smoothly with a 3rd party double glazing firm, enabling them to fulfill a repair on the front door that was still under warenty.The team were very responsive to my emails and my phone calls given my 6 hour time difference and were respectful not to call me at inconvenient times of the early morning too when needing to contact me.I was also grateful for how the team professionally handled the end of the tenancy, ensuring the property was left to a high level of cleanliness and worked with a decorator to fix some necessary paintwork.Belvoir do not handle property sales, so I chose to sell the property through an estate agent in Chandlers Ford, rather than their preferred agent in Southampton. The team were helpful and accommodating with the key transfer and liaison with the tenants and estate agent during the initial viewings until the tenant's vacated the property.Altogether a very pleasant experience from a remote Landlords perspective, I am very grateful for their services.Particular thanks goes to Loretto and Gwen-Rhian with whom I had the most contact. What a fabulous team, met with Brian on the Saturday and instructed him immediately, within a week they had found me a lovely tenant.
