Our remit was a sizeable two storey extension with a single storey wraparound. I attempted to get 3 quotes for the work, one company didn’t show up, the other 2 both gave fair quotes but there was just something about Steve that put us at ease during our initial meeting and our instincts told us we could trust him which is why we went for Belverdale and we weren’t disappointed. Belverdale managed to bring together a plethora of trades together in a succinct way and made our dreams come true. Everyone who worked on our house, directly employed by Belverdale or indirectly as a sub contractor have been brilliant. The small things when you’re living in the midst of such a big project are so important; friendly, polite, reliable and hardworking. Steve was great, and arranged for his joiners to finish off a job re-laying our living room floorboards that we’d been struggling to get done. They’ve done a fantastic job. As a woman of a 'certain age' living on my own I approached the prospect of an extension, it's fair to say, with some trepidation. I got several quotes including one from Belverdale. They weren't the cheapest-or the dearest. All the companies said it was a straightforward job, but there was something about Steve's approach when he came to look that stood out from the rest. He took an interest in the detail before I ever gave them the contract. Once they got started my 'fears' reduced-slowly but surely !!! They were great and the what's app group was hilarious at times. They made helpful suggestions and gave me ideas for things I hadn't thought of. They were reliable and punctual. All the different tradesmen were hardworking and a pleasure to have around.
