Bella Christie and Lil' Z's Sweet Boutique

My wife and I ordered a vegan wedding cake from Bella Christie. First of all we thought it was awesome that they even offered that option. We're not vegan ourselves but we do like vegan cakes and not every bakery has them. Secondly, people were coming up to us at the wedding and telling us how great the cake was. And it really was. We had vanilla with peanut butter layers and a "buttercream" icing and no one could tell it was vegan. And it wasn't just one or two people, it was more than a dozen. Best of all they were super affordable and they delivered and the charge for that wasn't bad either. We had the top wrapped and in the freezer but we loved the cake so much that we decided to open it early and share it with our family on Thanksgiving. Bella Christie is the best! We did cake tastings at 3 different vendors and knew immediately that this was the best choice. From the initial meeting, where they let us mix and match all sorts of cake and topping flavors we felt they were organized, professional, and delicious! My husband and I wanted something different that regular cake and we asked if they could do cupcakes instead - they made the most adorable mini-cupcakes that really allowed us to add a unique element to our wedding and greatly expand the flavors available. I purchased a cake for my boyfriends birthday. I asked for them to "draw some car things." I also told him he liked Hyundai, and purple/lime green are his favorite colors. They made him a Hyundai symbol out of fondant! It's beautiful! Ontop of that, the cake is delicious. I, also, purchased some spur of the minute cupcakes that were phenomenal. Bella Christies was by far the best ever. We ordered a "Little Man" themed cake for our sons 1st Birthday. The ordering process was easy, the cake was done on time and was absolutely beautiful. The taste was just as beautiful as it looked. They even gave a matching smash cake and I forgot to ask when I ordered! Thanks for going above and beyond. My daughter had her wedding cake and desert bar done by Bella Christie's. They were recommended to us by the vendor supplying the linens, dinnerware, etc. We had never heard of the shop, even though I drive by the store, I live very close. Anyway, we scheduled an appointment for tasting. We were not disappointed. My daughter does not like filling within cakes but loved the raspberry. I have had two different cakes from here, one vegan and one regular and they were amazing! The icing is the best I have ever had and the cake is so fresh! They're very professional when I called. I had no idea what kind of cupcakes I wanted, and I called the day before my mom's birthday. I spoke to Amanda who took my order with alot of patience. After scheduling the cake tasting for our wedding cake, we already knew Bella Christie would be different. The other bakeries we tried had a default flavor they gave us (wedding white or red velvet), without even asking for our thoughts and the tasting experiences themselves were awful (pushy staff, no seating, lack of options, small tasting portions). From the get go, Amanda instructed us to choose the cake flavors and fillings we wished to try. At the Aspinwall location, they had a nice table to sit at, offered us drinks, and brought us each three giant slices of cake in the desired flavors with the filling options in the center of the table. It was so fun to mix and match the different choices. Everything was delicious and the quality of the piping and design was fantastic! We've received so many compliments. I have had multiple cakes made here for my kids parties and I am at the point where I do not even have to go into detail or send photos - I can say Snow White, baby shower, puzzle pieces for an adoption cake and I trust them and they nail it every time!

This last time I told them to tell me their favorite for filling and the lady told me she liked the cookie dough i never would have guessed that- needless to say i thought I prepared for left overs our whole two tier cake was gone! And people are still talking about it !!!!!!

You can’t ask for anyone better to work with than Amanda she is responsive and will get you exactly what you want and some things you don’t even know you want but wind up LOVING. Popped in to see what this place was all about. Loved walking in to the smell of a real bakery!
They have everything from fancy cakes, gluten free options, they even have treats for dogs.

I had a Hot Mess Cookie....which the name alone should be given a prize.
