Meatloaf is killer. Service was solid and personable. Drinks were poured well. Found the place on Google. Stopped in on a Thursday. Asked the bartender for menu guidance - we were on the same page. I stop at Bella Bru often when riding my bike along the American River trail. It's a popular spot with cyclists and had a good patio. I generally don't get larger dishes, but their coffee is solid and the pastry selection is good. On the weekends, getting there after 9:30-10 can mean a very long line and a wait for even simple food. We had a margarita pizza, the cheese was gooey and wonderful, the tomatoes were perfect, minimal sauce which was awesome, we had it without the walnut pesto, they were very accommodating for a nut allergy. This review is for a group of 25 seated privately upstairs for Mimosas and brunch.  Everything was really on point.  Service:  Excellent.  Mimosas were refreshed and the young lady assigned was attentive and prompt without intrusion.  I'm sorry I don't have her name but this was on 10/20/19 with seating at 12:30p.  Food:  Also excellent.   Two quiches, green salad, lovely fresh fruit bowl, bacon, sausage (the only weak link), breakfast potatoes and a Blueberry Lemon Coffee Cake.  All ample and at the right temperature.  Mimosa Bar with multiple options and coffee.  Water carafes on the table and chargers with place settings.   Overall excellent for a small group of 30ish people.  I was a guest but I've hosted and attended many similar gatherings and I wouldn't hesitate to book them myself.
