As a first time home buyer the process can be extremely terrifying but working with Jodi was the best for our family. From our first conversation Jodi was extremely knowledgeable and very well detailed in making sure we found a loan that worked within our means. I cannot thank Jodi and Candace enough for the amount of the time and patience they had with us. Jodi was available to contact after 5 p.m. and that goes a long way considering when you are looking at houses and have follow up questions running through your head she always made herself available. We used Jodi to help us purchase our first home. She was reccomended to us by our real estate agent and we are so happy we trusted her advice in going with Jodi. She was extremly available to answer all of our questions and even explain it a second time to my other half to make sure we both understood. She got our paperwork processed quickly and we were pre approved, had an offer in, and in contract within a week. Jodi is the third mortgage broker I've worked with in the Portland / Vancouver area and she's by far the best. I met with her after our previous broker told us that we couldn't get a loan with my self-employed income. Jodi spent an hour and went over all of our numbers in detail and showed me that it was totally possible to get a loan and that my previous broker just hadn't taken the time to dive into the numbers. My husband calls her, "The Miracle Worker," because that's how much relief we feel having found her. She's responsive, super detailed and went the extra mile to make sure we got the best rate. Jodi White is exceptional. I am in a special veteran's home buying program. I was thinking of leaving the program and rate shop. Not only did she provide me important information about rates she gave me advice from a mortgage professionals' point of view not to leave the program and why. This was not in her best interest. Jodi is a true expert in her field. Â While I was always aware that she was a step above the other mortgage brokers, I recently got an opportunity to witness it. Â I was visiting the Academy office and just having a friendly discussion with Jodi. Â I was amazed at how many of her colleagues were coming to her for answers to questions regarding acronyms that I had no clue what they meant.
