Nicola, her Mum and team were really excellent on our wedding day. They did so much to make our day go really smoothly including to help set up in the morning, making sure the caterers were ready, generally running around for us (bringing the thank you gifts, offering to bring water etc) and after the event packed everything up perfectly. I couldn’t have done our day without Nicola and would recommend her to anyone who is doing a DIY wedding and needs some help on the day. We had various concerns about the running of our wedding in the lead up, with both of us being so busy, so contacted Nicola. We are immeasurably glad we did. From the first phone call (before we had even booked her) to the day itself she could not have done more and made us feel more relaxed! I have worked with Nicola on two recent events in the last week. I also have worked with her on handful of other occasions. I am so impressed by her work ethos and her attention detail is second to none. From setting up tables and styling and making sure the little things are just perfect. From running mini jobs for guests as they have forgot something. To assisting on photoshoots. To ensuring food and service is run well and on time. To helping guests find there seats and ordering taxis for home time. The service Nicola provides is amazing and she is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend her services to any Brides and Grooms who need that added sparkle to there day. When I saw her when I arrived at our wedding feeling a little anxious, she gave me a great feeling of calmness. I cannot put into words how amazing the Behind the Scenes team is. They are true wedding HEROS
We designed and planned our whole wedding from start to finish, but needed someone we trusted to finish off the set up, manage the whole day and just before so we didn't have to stress on the day itself.
This is where Nicola and her Mum came in. We knew on first meeting Nicola she totally got us and our plan - you see we are in the wedding industry and we like everything to run like clockwork and were just a little bit OCD about our wedding! Isn't everyone!
Nicola managed the whole day & evening for us exactly the way we wanted, stuff just happened as we imagined and the day ran faultlessly and that is down to these ladies!
I really can't thank them enough for being our wedding fairy and totally nailing it for us.
They both put in such long hours and for that we will be forever grateful.

On behalf of me and my husband I can honestly say I don't know what we would have done with Nicola and her lovely mum!
Our wedding day was becoming incredibly stressful when our original venue cancelled out of the blue, Nicola kept me grounded and took every inch of stress out of our wedding day, she ensured she knew exactly what our vision was and created everything if not more than what we wanted, we had literally the most smooth and amazing day, and nicola thought of absolutely everything even down to an emergency sewing kit for when my lovely husband split his trousers on the top table!!! Thank you again for helping make our dreams come true!!!!! X if your wondering whether to book......DO IT!!!!!! X

Nicola and her mum are amazing! If you are looking to do a diy wedding, like i did, you really will need behind the scenes to help you.
Nicola enabled the whole day to run smoothly and was always just in the background doing things or ready to help where she could with anything and everything. It was very reassuring just seeing her there.
Nicolas advice leading up to the wedding was invaluable and wise. The finished set up the hall looked perfect, far better then i could ever have dreamed and this was all down to Nicola. It was also the little extra things, like her mum writing out all my name place settings for me the week befor and making sure we thought about the small things you wouldnt even have thought of.
Nicola also did a take down the night before so the morning after we litrally just had to load the cars up. This was a great help when you are feeling tired and hungover. :)
All i can say is
Thank you so so SO much to you are your mum! You were truly amazing and made my day perfect! Xxx

We had Cerri from BtSE as our planner, who couldn't have been a more knowledgeable, thoughtful or friendly guide to have by our side in the run up to our wedding. I was looking for someone who could share some of the stress and planning over our wedding weekend, and keep things on schedule on the day (as well as help with decorations and artistic vision for our pretty bare barn!) and after meeting a few planners who I didn't click with, Cerri put me at ease during our first meeting - she clearly has an enthusiasm and passion for organising them! Quite a few mishaps happened on our day which Cerri was on straight away... she kept calm under pressure, was patient with our caterers who made a few pretty major errors, and dealt perfectly with me to ensure I didn't let the small things ruin the whole day. Our guests commented on what a pleasure she was to have around, and she went the extra mile in even lending us her own belongings to help finish our displays. I really cannot recommend her enough! My husband and I booked Nicola back in 2015 to help us on our Wedding Day. Nicola and her team had come from a friends recommendation who couldn't speak highly enough of BtS so I knew it would be a mistake to not book them! Nicola was wonderful in the lead up to the big day, and was an absolute gem on the day itself - our day certainly wouldn't have been as magical or as pain free had Nicola not been around. I honestly do not know what I would have done without Behind the Scenes events, Nicola entered our wedding journey after our dream venue let us down and cancelled us short notice, we found our big dream and told Nicola exactly how we wanted our wedding to be, to say Nicola created the dream wedding is an understatement, everything was literally perfection and she had thought of everything! Even a sewing kit which comes in rather handy when your groom splits his trousers exiting the wedding car! I honestly can’t begin to find he words to thank Nicola and her amazing team for their help during our wedding, but if you are wandering whether it’s worth having a wedding planner I would say ......BOOK NOW!!!
