Today it’s no different, the owners Glen and Jonathan Carr, along with their dedicated, professional and hard working team of staff have achieved great success over the last 10 years and continue to improve and grow the ever-popular bar.

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people every single day, local people, people from different parts of the country and often people from different parts of the world! Providing patrons with some of the worlds best drinks in one of the cities most beautiful and characteristic venues never gets old! We host peoples birthday parties, corporate events, live music across all genres and even parties such as engagements and weddings, nothing quite tops hosting someone's special day!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having been a doorman in and around Norwich for 25 years Glen, one of the owners, decided to step away from being a doorman, but didn't want to lose the nightlife side of his life, an opportunity arose in the form of Bedfords Bar as the previous owner was moving away and it was just too good to say no! The bar needed a lot of work but this is something Glen, and myself (Jonathan), had never shied away from and the challenge was accepted and we never looked back.

We are a family run, independent business with customer satisfaction at forefront of our business model. We have many different things going on at Bedfords across the year but there's nothing we enjoy as much as hosting people parties whether it be a special birthday or a special day such as an engagement or even wedding. We will do whatever it takes to guarantee you have the most amazing party.
