I had made a review about this before, but after comparing my experience with other people that are like jennifer, i can say for sure that i was manipulated into apologising to her.
I do not want people to have a similar experience because of her vile and petty nature.
The first time i had had my hair cut she tried her best to cut my hair, but in the end i wasnt satisfyed with the look, but i assured her that it wasnt any fault of her own.
The next time i had my hair cut, in 2021 i was in psychosis, so i cant say for sure if what was happening was really real, but we did have a bit of a spit. It started after i had told a story of me clapping back at a teacher in a very rude manner after i thought she was coming after me. After that it had nosedived into her atangonizing me. She ended up cutting my hair very uneven, which i fixed myself once i got home. Ex: "you are pretty rude you know", "omg she was like, i gotta get outta here!!", As well with taunting laughter after i had gotten out.
The third time i had gotten my hair cut, in 2022, i had come back to her work to get a hair cut and to say sorry to her for being clapping back at her (which was only once) and explained that i was in psychosis. In the beginning, we were talking about how i had shaved my head, and one of the first things she asked me was if i had "snapped" and shaved all my hair off. When i was getting my hair cut after saying sorry to her, she made remarks about when she was hearing my phone how it felt like she was "hearing little people" and quietly said "its like im hearing little voices in my head" after this, while she was shaving the sides of my head, she kept burning me with the razor, stopping and starting up again when she wasnt getting a response out of me, even though the first time this had happened i had jerked away. She had ran it harshly along my ear multiple times, and at one point stopped for a second and then jabbed it into the back of my neck as if she was trying to hurt me and surprise me. While it wasnt hard enough to leave any noticeable burns, it still hurt a fair bit.
As someone who claims to be a professonal hairdresser, i dont believe the way she was handling the razor was an accident.
While i was too cowardly to speak up and say anything, i wish i had. If you are to get a hairstylist from here, please do not go to jen, even though she claims to not hold things against other people, this is nothing more but a facade. As stated before, i do not want any more people getting hurt because of her being petty, manipulative and downright disgusting inside. she not only manipulated me, but my mother as well, even though she was sitting in the room while i was getting my hair cut, jen was very discreet with the way she had treated me. Jen is a very evil person, and i hope that she finds peace one day rather than faking it. I also hope that she isnt hurting other people and intimidating them into submission as she had done with me.
I will say that i was very upset, and had sent a nasty text to her to get back at her for treating me the way she had and not talking to me through text and going through my mother for communication. while she was emailing me, she was passive aggressive and i have had people agree with me on the way she was acting, if they understood the situation and how people like her behave. Some of the things that she had implied were that, my mind was not at peace and that i needed some sort of therapy (yoga) and that i was too cowardly to speak up to her.
while i think i could have handled myself better, i do not believe that my anger was unjust.

I worked with a couple different people all doing different things, from hair dye, to hair styling, makeup and photography. I would definitely recommend Beauty in the Raw to everyone. These ladies were all amazing to work with, so friendly and kind! Had my engagement photos and wedding photos done with Amanda and I cannot begin to express how amazing these photos turned out. What to say about this fine lady and the service she provided. Since the moment my wife met her she was hooked. Bubbly, smiling, creative, and really worked well with us. From the start when she did our engagement photos. We really didn't have much in mind just wanted to be natural and real and she truly captured that in every one of our photos. My wife being a more shy not like being in front of a camera kinda lady truly shined in every photo and more so in the photos we didn't see coming. Some posed but most not and even when posed she truly captured who we are as individuals and as a couple the in between photo photos where great. Working our way up to the wedding worked well with the list of photos we had and requests we wanted. Had lots of questions and really made the process easy for us. The day of wedding...WOW. I cant even put into words how much she put into our wedding and was willing to step up and not be just the photographer. A groomsman was unreachable for a morning event and she was on the phone willing to send people to get him and such. She truly made this one easy day for us. Alot of the times I didnt even know where her or her assistant was. Both ladies captured all angles we wanted and all angles that were needed. Again I cant put into words how amazing Amanda and Kali were for us on this most special day.
