BCL removed a large red maple tree growing close to my house. Eighty inches around at the base of the tree. A crew of about six arrived on time and had the tree cut down and removed everything in about two hours. They ground the stump down to the surface. But the estimate stated to grind down the stump sixteen inches below the surface. I called BCL when I found the stump was only ground to the surface, and they sent a crew of two to finish grinding down the stump to sixteen inches below the surface. I asked if they would contract to haul away the wood chips. But they said they don't offer that service. So I found another crew to haul away the wood chips, so I can fill the hole with fill dirt and add topsoil and plant grass. More...

We needed several branches over our roof trimmed and a few dead branches over our driveway removed.  We got estimates from 3 companies, and Beautiful Country was the most competitive. Very reasonably priced. Responsiveness after receiving the quote was a little slow -- it took them a while to tell us when they'd be available to service our house, but in the end, they were able to perform the job within a week of the quote. We had a large tree removed from our front yard. They were prompt but took two days to complete the job. We came home the first day and the stump was still there without any message about why the job was not completed. After requesting three estimates to address a water drainage problem in my back yard, I selected Beautiful Country Landscape.  Unlike the other companies, Alex made an appointment to come to the house the next day, and talked me through what he felt would be the best solution.  In short, my back yard would turn into a small lake for days on end following even a moderate rain.  His quote was reasonable, and he came out to do the work promptly.  His team did a great job, made the place look great, and most importantly, the low-cost regrading and drainage solution he recommended worked like a charm!  I'd strongly recommend Alex and this company without reservation, and expect to work with them again for any future landscaping needs. It was a pleasure working with Beautiful Country Landscape.  From beginning to end, Alex was very responsive, and emails were answered quickly. His crew was efficient, polite, and professional.  They removed two dying pine trees along our border (up against our neighbor's fence) with no problems at all.  They also did a beautiful job raising and shaping the pine trees along our driveway.  At the last minute I asked them to clean up some piles of large branches, and they did so without any problems.  Alex even asked his crew to remove a dead branch from another tree at the other end of our property.  They picked up everything and left the area so much cleaner than they found it!  We received multiple quotes for the job, and the price from Beautiful Country was very reasonable.  This company really goes the extra step in customer service.  We plan to use them again for future landscaping work. Alex and his crew were prompt, courteous, and super quick with 2 projects we needed done; one water drainage issue and the other a general cleanup and addition of flower beds. Alex gave me a very reasonable quote for both projects within days of visiting. He had great suggestions and feedback for the water drainage problem and worked with us to make sure we'd be happy. The crew showed up as expected and did great work. They had to dig up a large portion of the yard, but managed to get more of the grass back in place than I expected. The retaining wall they built for us looks great and solves a big problem by adding underground piping and drainage from where our Hvac drips. We were more than happy with Beautiful Country Landscaping to take down a big maple tree next to our house. Beautiful Country Landscape SAVED my Thanksgiving.  I had collected leaves from my 1.5 acre home and had them all at the end of my driveway.  2 days before Thanksgiving my landscaping company was unable to come and pick them up.  One call to BCL and within 24 hours, they were there, and my leaves and lawn looked brand new.  Not many companies could provide that level of service that quickly.  Especially for a new client.  VERY impressed and so thankful.  My house looked beautiful as family arrived on T-day and I have BCL to thank! Called a couple of tree experts on a Saturday since a tree fell in our yard and crushed our deck - beautiful country was the only one that picked up on the Saturday. They were able to send someone in on Monday to assess the situation.Alex came by and looked at the fallen tree and other trees on our property. He gave us good advice and spotted a dead limb that had fungus growing all over (which was right on top of our bedroom - none of the other tree experts spotted that). Alex proactively provided the license and insurance info, and the estimations provided were very competitive also. In the end we hired them to help remove a dying Ash tree as well as the dead limb - due to the rain we had to move the appointment back but they were able to come by within 2 weeks.They sent in a large team of 5 or 6, and they did not rush the job (which we appreciate as the tree was next to some structures). I had a tall oak tree and a tall maple that were hanging over my house and they needed to get trimmed due to safety concerns.  I contacted Beautiful Country Landscape via Yelp 'Request a Quote' and they came out the same day to do the estimate and provided me a quote the next day. Alex included a copy of their MD Tree Expert license and Insurance info with the estimate per my request so that was a good start. Even better, out of the 3 quotes that I received, theirs was clearly the most reasonable. The crew came to my house at the agreed upon date and time and were very professional and hardworking. They came and got me after trimming each tree to ensure my satisfaction and I was more than happy with their work. They cut the bigger pieces and stacked it into a nice pile for fire wood per our agreement and picked up the yard debris and fed the chipper. The crew even raked up the leaves! Great customer service!I hired Beautiful Country Landscape to aerate and over-seed my lawn in mid August 2018. I was sold on using them based on the 5-star reviews I found here on Yelp. After they aerated and over-seeded, we had near record rainfall throughout the months of August and September.  PERFECT for growing my new seed!  However, after 30 days of waiting, watching and seeing nothing, I was frustrated and feeling a bit ripped off.I contacted Beautiful Country Landscape.  Guess what!?  They did the absolute right thing!  They returned, aerated, and over-seeded again!Thanks for the great customer service.I will use Beautiful Country Landscape again. I had a diseased tree that was on the border of mine and neighbor's property line, and during the week preceding Hurrican Florence, a big branch dropped. I was able to secure 2 quotes within a day or two after this happened. Beautiful landscaping provided a quick response time, competitive pricing and completion time. The tree was removed prior to Hurrican Florence hit the east coast, which was actually only 2 days after the quote. This was an urgent matter taken care of nicely by the team. I had these guys out to fix a yard that looked like a jungle.  It was so bad that the neighbors complained about it. Once i agreed to the work I met with Alex to go over everything in person.  90% of the work was already completed by the time I arrived at this property.  The property is a rental and the previous tenants neglected it to the point where there were trees growing everywhere.  I also had this company cut some large tree branches hanging over the property.  They cleaned everything up.  Words cannot express how impressed I was with their response and how quickly everything got done.  I was so impressed I had them damage a rotting tool shed as well.  I also have them mowing the grass at this property to avoid a future "jungle" of overgrowth.  The quote provided was very reasonable.  I plan on using their services in the future for my other properties. With the huge amount of rain in July and hearing the horror stories of trees falling on houses, I decided it was time to remove some of my 30 year old + trees in my yard. Alex and Maynard came over and helped me make a plan on which trees had to be removed quickly. We picked two gigantic trees to go first and one tree that needed to be trimmed. They gave me an estimate within hours and worked with me on the price. We set a date and they were on time with a generous amount of equipment and staff to complete the job. They took out the trees and their stumps. The clean up was immaculate and part of my fence that got damaged in the removal was replaced. They were professional and courteous. The crew that was sent to trim our large oak trees and remove our beech tree (it was way too close to the house) was amazing. They arrived on time, maintained a high level of safety throughout the day, didn't damage anything, and left our yard, sidewalk, and street spotless when they left. They also consulted with us multiple times during the day to ensure that we were satisfied with their work. The result is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. As the tree in our backyard is very close to the house and its branches touch the house roof, I have been shopping around for tree service since moving into our new home. I sent a request for quotes to multiple tree service business in the area and Beautiful country Landscape was the first one to reply me and they were also the first one to come to our house to see the tree and gave me a quote, which is very reasonable. So I decided to hire them. They came to my house in the morning and I watched them finish the entire job. They were very experienced and quick. Within 1 hr 30 min, the 30-foot tree was cut down to the ground (literally) and they cleaned up my yard as well as my neighbor's yard very well. I live in Rockville. We had a huge tree in our backyard which died over the winter. It was already large when we bought the house 25 years ago. Not one leaf this spring. I researched tree services in the area. Beautiful Country Landscape had great reviews. They promptly gave me a very reasonable estimate, including stump removal. Another company with great reviews gave me an estimate a little more than double the price.The crew from Beautiful Country Landscape showed up promptly. Btw, I checked the Certificate of Liability Insurance & their licensing certification which they provided me. I also checked publicly available court records. All checked out.A crew of 5 showed up with a chipper. These guys were great! They took that huge tree down, attacked the roots with shovels and axes & brought in a huge machine to dig the stump out. Maynor was so easy to work with; quick response time to emails and phone calls. Their bid came in about a thousand dollars less than any of the other bids I received. I had three VERY large trees removed and three others had to have their dead branches cut back. He ended up sending out two crews so that they could get the job done in just one day . . . they arrived around 8:30 a.m. and were here until about 7 p.m. All of the guys were very nice and worked to make sure I was happy. When I saw the large logs coming down mid day I decided I wanted to keep many of them to have them milled into lumber. I expressed this to the guys and they acted like they understood, unfortunately when I came back a bit later they had cut the 10' section of cherry tree into 2' pieces. :( I re-explained what I was looking for and was specific about the length I wanted it left and I was able to get five 9' sections of the sycamore tree for lumber. They also left me a couple other cool pieces that will make great rounds for coffee table and end tables! At the end of the day we realized one of the trees they had taken down had broken a few branches of a tree next to it. Even though they had already put everything away, the one young man )climbed right up there (probably almost 30' up) and took care of the broken branches!!I did have to do some clean up of my own the next day to pick up branches, sawdust in the lawn, and flatten out areas where their trucks, equipment or trees falling had left dents in the lawn. They also left one fairly good sized (12") branch in the ground; cut off at grass level. Not sure how we are going to get that one out, but it is a bit hidden so may not be an issue. I am please with the service received.  We have had a bad experience with a DIFFERENT tree company and were apprehensive.  We had a bigger tree cut down and they ruined our lawn, took out our lawn furniture and stained it . For this removal, it was a small tree that needed to be removed from our property.  I requested quotes from Beautiful Country and others--I found Beautiful Country to be the most reasonable at $350 whereas others quoted us at $600 and $700.  The crew was friendly and efficient, Maynor was responsive to all emails and followed up when they could not make the original appointment yesterday.   They cleaned up the yard and did not damage the lawn.  I recommend this company and would use them again.
