Bear With Us Productions by name, but I like to think of them as the Dream Factory for two reasons. Firstly, they are an absolute dream to work with, especially if you are like me and have no idea where to start with getting your story brought to life. Andy and my illustrator Nat did a fantastic job and taking the picture I had in my mind's eye and translating it onto the page. Andy was in constant contact at every stage, letting me know what was happening every step of the way. A constant reassuring presence in what can be a daunting enterprise. And the second reason is that the team really do make your dreams come true. I started this year with an idea stuck in my head that I wanted to bring to life. Months went by and I kept second-guessing it, which is why I reached out to the team at BWU. From then on it was full steam ahead with a guiding hand and no looking back with regret. I highly recommend these guys. They have brought my book to life and the quality of their work is excellent. Their customer service is beyond reproach. They never left me waiting, they were always on the ball and they have made sure everything ran smoothly with the whole process from start to finish. I knew from the first time I spoke to Andy that I’d found the right fit for my picture book, My Llama Drama. Working with Andy and Ed has been an absolute delight! I had the pleasure of working with Andy Wheeler, Richie Evans, and their team @ Bear With Us Productions on my third children's book called, Neat Freaks. The best compliment I can give is I truly believe this book could not have been done any better! Let me tell you what sets Bear With Us Productions apart from their competition -- it became crystal clear to me early on that they absolutely LOVE their jobs and it shows in everything they do. They want our stories to be the best they can be and will do everything in their power to help get them there. Andy Wheeler does an amazing job at communication throughout the process and has a stunning eye for quality. He attached illustrator, Adam Walker-Parker, to my project and it was a match made in Freak heaven! Could not recommend these guys highly enough! They provided advice and guidance throughout the whole process. These guys are gooooood, from the initial discussion to the finished artwork and layout - I could smell the professionalism and passion percolating from their pores over 300 miles away. Here's a little breakdown of the experience: Blistering, break-neck speed - they got it (delivered every stage early) Incredible value - they got it (up front with fees and are very reasonable) Tremendously talented illustrators - they got it (nailed the concept from my initial brief) Clear, friendly communication - they got it (kept up to date every step of the way) Says what they does, and does what they says - they got it (they broke down the stages, delivered exactly what they said they would and even did it early) In short... 8 out of 5, and they only don't get a 10 because they didn't throw in a free Aston Martin DB9 with the finished illustration.
