Our mission is simple; to help you get active, no matter who you are or what you love to do.

Why you should train with me?
Firstly, I have qualifications coming out of my ears: a degree from The University of Exeter in Exercise and Sports Science (with a dissertation specialising in sports psychology), I hold the highest level of PT qualification, I am qualified to train Diabetic and obese clients as well as those with sport-specific injuries, I have been a PT for 5 years and have performed over 5,000 hours of Personal Training, and I’ve worked and written for Men's Health & Runners World publications.

Sarah is a fantastic and knowledgeable PT with a brilliant rooftop gym. I have done both one on one and group sessions with her. She identified areas of weakness - such as my ankle flexibility - and helped me to strengthen and improve. Her group fitness sessions are always fun and I have loved training with her. More...

Sarah is an excellent PT- really knowledgeable and supportive. Her rooftop space is really cool- you can see the top of the Cathedral and all the way to Vauxhall- and it has so much equipment - free weights, squat rack, ski erg, kettle bells, assault bike, normal bike, rowing machine. So different to most gyms where you are underground and having to queue to use equipment all the time. More...

I always like training with Sarah (and not many other pts!) because she is interested in working to all kinds of goals, not necessarily visible muscles, and manages to be funny to chat to through some ridiculous and ridiculously painful moves. Bear fitness really helped motivate and train me for a half marathon. I would never have been able to do it without their support. They made me personal training plans and even gave me tips on the right foods to eat and what time to go to bed! The best thing about them is they made exercise fun!! Bear Fitness are always willing to help with on-line coaching, they give me workouts to do in my own gym on my own or when I need encouragement they suggest ideas for partner workouts to share with friends. These workouts are tough but they give you options for your own level and how you are feeling on the day, invariably we end up doing the tougher version because they inspire you and give you the confidence to achieve. There are always burpees but I am slowly getting to like them ‍♀️?? one thing for sure is that afterwards and the next day, you know you have had a full body workout. More...

I really enjoyed training with Sarah. It was refreshing to work with someone that understood physiology / how the body functions and works, as well as fitness overall. She was patient, encouraging, but still applied the right amount of pressure. Anything that seemed unachievable, she was able to break down and build in stages. If I was still living in London I would be training with her. I would defo recommend her! More...

Being, dare I say woman in her mid to late forties, the need for exercise and less food seemed in my mind the best way to reduce my fat but this wasn’t working! Bear Fitness took the time to educate me on the need for the right food and combining this with the right exercise for me it has worked wonders, whilst I will never be skinny I can be slimmer and fitter and Bear Fitness supports me in this goal. What I love is that they treated me as equally important as their younger fitter clients and even involved me with their training and I didn’t feel that I was a hindrance.
Positive attitude and friendly but tough when they need to be.

Sarah pays close attention to how I'm responding to training and continually makes targeted changes to really get at the areas where I need extra work. In a short time, I've seen changes to my body and felt changes in my strength.

As others have said, Sarah is super-positive and fun to train with -- the time flies by so quickly! -- but she doesn't hold back on pushing you to do the proper work (while never pushing you beyond your safe limits).

Training with Bear Fitness has been absolutely fantastic. Sarah's sessions are unique and challenging, and her extensive knowledge means she's able to mix in a huge range of activities to keep me progressing. On both a practical and theoretical level, her expertise is really evident, and she's really helped me gain a better range of technique and skill in the gym.
She's great company and an absolute pleasure to train with, and will push you to work hard whilst always being sensitive to personal limitations. I really feel like she took the time to understand how I like to train, and what's most engaging for me. As a a result, training with her is always both rewarding and fun, and I've made improvements that I'm really proud of.

Within an environment and time frame both the trainer and client are comfortable with. We want to make training fit into your lifestyle and something that can be adopted day to day, not just over a short period of time.

To make training and diet something you can not only maintain, but, something that you enjoy. The body of your dreams should be one that performs to the level you want it to and look good whilst doing it.

We are a team of London based personal trainers, ready and excited to help you not just reach, but exceed your own personal fitness goals. Whether you are training for a specific event, looking to tone up, build muscle or just keep yourself in the best shape possible, the BEAR Fitness team can help!

We also want to ensure that you know why you are performing certain exercises, and how they are going to help you reach your goals. We don't want to simply develop your physical fitness, but also your mental attitude towards health and exercise generally.

Please see our simple 3 stage process below, which helps us assess which trainer you should work with and also how we are going to ensure you hit your health and fitness targets.

1. Initial Assessments
Before we start training you, we want to get to know you: who you are, what you are trying to achieve and where you currently sit in relation to your goals. We then can decide how to get you achieving your goals in a healthy and holistic way.

2. Creating your Fitness programme
We are committed to your personal goals - whatever they may be. These will be the foundation for all the work that follows; everyone is different and knowing your personal goals will ensure that our training plans are bespoke to you. With your health and fitness objectives in mind, we will create a long term personalised programme that includes smaller, short term targets that can be achieved along the way, so that you can both monitor and feel good about your progress on the journey toward your ultimate goal of health and fitness world domination!

3. Belief/Attitude
Your fitness goals can only be achieved from BEAR Fitness' positive attitude towards you, and yours towards us. Whether you train with us once or seven times a week, we are 100% committed and will not only provide advice whilst you are in the gym, but also ensure that you have the knowledge to keep up the fitness regime when you walk out of our door!


We will make your aspirations into reality with talented personal trainers who will be there for you all the way to ensure that you believe you can do it as much as we do.

We are currently located in the Pimlico/ Victoria/ Marble Arch area, and offer outdoor training in Clapham.
