What do you love most about your job?
Meeting potential and existing clients knowing that if there is a way to make their dreams a reality, I will do so. It is a privilege to find solutions that make people's lives easier, happier and more financially secure.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to be a mortgage adviser following a not very pleasant encounter with one some years ago. The advice given proved to be very poor and I knew I could do a better job whereby I would consider how best I could help and support clients. It is important to listen and question in order to really understand what it is clients are trying to achieve both short and long term.
I am not good at working to a strict timetable so I enjoy the freedom of being self employed which gives me the flexibility to work the hours I choose - probably far too many these days!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an honest trustworthy person who will always work for my clients. I will always give best advice even if it means I don't get paid. I do not make false promises and I never guarantee anything until the Offer is on the table.
I have a conscience and strive to be the best I can be. Clients have to come first and I can only achieve this is I listen, guide and understand long term goals. Sometimes we need to deal with NOW but always being aware of potential changes in the future. By explaining everything clearly, clients know exactly what the mortgage is doing for them and what to do, if necessary, to prepare for the next step in a few years time.
I believe in being accessible to clients and never ignore a message, email or phone call. Clients look to us as advisers to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do - for the client obviously!
Also, although I uploaded my picture the right way up it seems this has been turned a quarter turn to the right. Sorry, I hope n one hurts their neck turning their laptop to see it properly!
