My first visit but I would say definitely one of the better Turkish restaurants in the area and I will go there again. If you drive then parking costs £1 but cumbersome to do it on the mobile so we gave up and went to Morrisons where it's free for a couple of hours.

Visited here last night for my daughter's 25th birthday. Advised them on the phone to give us a good table due to this. When we arrived the place was buzzing, very busy. They had prepped a lovely table in the middle for us. The waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. The food arrived quickly despite it being busy and was nice sized portions. Well presented and tasted very fresh and full of flavour. This meal was a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed it. Made much better by the friendly service from the staff. They even advised us that we could've brought the cake and balloons and they could've done a surprise cake cutting for our daughter. We actually picked Lara Grill as we thought it was another Turkish restaurant we had previously visited (we're not from the area) and found out when we arrived but we are very glad we found it, even if by accident, as its a little gem. We were attending an event in Dagenham and the Gods of travel had conspired to ensure that our plans to make our way into London for lunch would come to naught. What had seemed a curse became a blessing ! With great reluctance we sought the advice of Trip Advisor and fearing the worst we settled on Lara’s Grill. Expectations were low as we arrived but these swiftly were turned around. The beautifully tiled floor spoke of good taste and the decor was understated but elegant. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
First we find out what the event is about, as it gives us an idea of what type of food mirrors the occasion.
Most times clients know what they want i.e HOG ROAST for wedding or LAMB ROAST for a private event. So it varies on the client,but we also put every step of consultation to your specific meal or choice of catering.
What do you love most about your job?
The ability to make you smile with our food, as we do not compromise on the quality of our BBQ'S and ROASTS.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for cooking. Plus i enjoy good food, and would go to any length to know how to cook it or were to find it.

HOG ROAST
Our Hog Roast is a joy to see. This service is tailored for your event, and we highly recommend it. Our Hog Roast Machine can grill a 40-45Kg Hog for 5-6 hours (serving 80-100 guest), to give you that grill master flavour you so crave for.
This service is done at your venue, and to wow!! your guests, we bring in the Spit Roast Machine into the venue, open it to reveal the pulled, carved hog, & cracklings at the base. We even give you a Royal Sword to take the first slice with.
Served with Crackling, Brioche or seeded bun, Stuffing, Coleslaw & Lettuce and Beetroot salad

Whole Lamb Roast
Our Whole Lamb Service is a spectacular on its own. This service is tailored for your event, and we highly recommend it.
Our Lamb Spit Roast Machine can grill a 30-35Kg lamb for 4-5 hours (serving 50-100 guest), to give you that grill master flavour you so crave for.
This service is done at your venue, and to wow!! your guests, we bring in the Spit Roast Machine into the venue, open it to reveal the lamb, Roast Potatoes & vegetables at the base. We even give you a Royal Sword to take the first slice with.
